Paul was always my favorite, but I was watching this thing on TV tonight where they told you the Beatles biggest secrets and one of them was that Paul cheated with another woman just shortly after he got engaged to Jane Asher. I was shocked to hear that Paul (like the rest of the Beatles), enjoyed sex, drugs and cheating. I really loved Paul and Jane together, to me they just fit! But that's not to say I didn't like him and Linda together either. At the time I think the UK public were PISSED! Because he and a beautiful Brit actress broke up after 5 years together and then he goes and MARRIES a divorced American with a kid already! Read Wikipedia on Jane Asher. Sir Paul was a cheater and, to her credit, Asher has never spoken publicly about their long tumultuous relationship (however, Francie Schwarz, one of Paul's many girlfriends has.....) Asher has been married since 1981 (with 3 children) and seems to have happily left McCartney in her youth. And Linda Eastman was the love of his life...

Paul had just seen Linda in NY May 11-15, then later, in June, they had their famous "naughty weekend" (around June 23) in L.A. at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Then Jane broke up with him shortly after and announced it July 20th in the papers. Did Jane find out about Linda? Did Paul tell her? Who knows? Francie Schwartz claims in her book Body Count that P&J were split before she came on the scene.

I was watching an interview with Paul and he talked about the second ime he met Linda (Sgt. Pepper's Shoot). He described her in every detail, about the way she held the camera and the way her fingers looked and how her eyes view the photo being shot, it really was beautiful.
