  • Why is there is debate whether we're in a recession or not? Is this some sort of sick joke?? JUST LOOK AT THE NUMBERS, SOME WORSE THAN DURING THE GREAT DEPRESSION. UNLESS SOMEONE SEES MORE JOBS BEING CREATED AND THE HOME MARKET MIRACULOUSLY TURNING AROUND, WE'RE STILL IN A DEEP, DARK RECESSION AND WE'VE NEVER LEFT!!!

I just heard a great joke the other day that went like this:

A "recession" is when your friend loses their job.

A "depression" is when YOU lose your job.

  • Do not believe the news. You need to act now. Buy gold and protect yourself.

  • Everything you say about the Fed is true. The Fed is expanding the money supply at extreme rates. There has to be lots of inflation as a result - higher commodity prices are an example of this.

  • At actual stock market bottoms nobody on TV or in the financial media will tell you to buy stocks. Think backe to the bottom of the market in Oct 2002, even though this was one of the best buy opportunities ever, no of the talking heads told you this. So, if all the TV stock touts are telling you to buy, you can be assured that there isn't a stock market bottom.

  • My friend Jack has been talking about this for 40 years, everyone used to tease him and call him "dark cloud" now they all want to be his friend! I am glad this is happening while he is still alive to see it.

  • great!

  • I agree that they are told what to say. They dont see it as a lie, they need to get ratings. If everyone knew the truth, which is right freiken here,it would happen overnight and right away.Everyone just wants status quo and nice.I dont know squat economics,u and vitory are my teachers. But now if I was a rich guy,I would manipulate the market with my $ so it appears fine and dandy, and when it fails, cie la vie.:)

  • From France: great vid. I have an MBA and years of Wall Street and Euro exchange/Asian markets experience, and am a former NASD member. This is very lucid and really excellent. Will share. Carry on.

  • Slobomotion,

Thankyou for your kind words. There are lots more events to happen before the big one!

  • Wealth of Nations, Common Sense... how are we to pull together and beat this crisis, before it beats us?

    Capcom101u

  • Vote. Get off the grid to the extent possible. Do "the day without shopping" as often as possible. Talk to other people. Be frugal and self-sufficient. Spread the word.

  • Did you hear about this from MSN?

"Stocks surge on good news from Intel, JPMorgan"

    Manipulation!

  • Great vid. Thanks. Great to hear what is going on in AU...and great accent. I love it!

    MOT

  • MOT the magnificent arrives! G'day!

Thanks for the kind words dude and thanks for dropping by!

    Goofball accent but....LOL!

  • 2007 Recession

    2008 Deep Recession

    2009 Depression

    2010 Great Depression????

What are your thoughts on the next few years?

  • Myspacesecrets- this is unbelievable. PPI was almost triple expectations, Oil is almost at 114, and Wall Street doesn't even care. I mean, the consumer is being stabbed to death, Rome is burning, and they don't even blink an eye. I can't see this rally lasting more than half the day, but who knows with the dogs of wall st. What are your thoughts on the wonderful Land of Oz today?

  • Hello my friend. Heavy Manipulation indeed!

We will have to see how the DOW closes! Something smells fishy to me!

  • Visionv,

You said it! Wall st. doesn't care! They just announce on Bloomberg that Housing starts have drop more than since 1991. JPMorgan loss 50% of its worth and the market futures are up 80 points! Am I nuts or are they? When will reality final set in for these Roman Citizens that the Barbarians are at the Gates!

I guess that's when NYSE is on fire due to food riots. Then they'll get it!

  • Kittenkattan-It blows me away. The consumer is in a full blow recession, their homes are upside down, and food has double digit inflation. Yet Wall St. could care less. Wachovia reports an unexpected loss, and the market stays flat. But Wells fargo meets expectations, and the market rallies. Doesn't add up, I think the children can play until the summer is over, eventually Main St is going to knock wall st to the floor.

  • impending doom will not be cancelled...just postponed for now.

  • Maybe postponed for us, but the train is right on time for the people planning this:(

  • I hope you are right. Because if this continues, we will have a French Revolution situation on our hands. Where 90% of the wealth is held by less than 1% of the Population. All they have to do is tell us something like "Let them eat credit cards" and the Revolution will happen in a bad way! I can't wait for MOT, MySecretspace, and your videos when that happens! I will be in a cabin with a shotgun then!

  • I'll be far far away from a computer when this goes down Kittenkattan :( But I will try and do one last video before I get out of dodge.

  • Friend, do me a favor,

EMAIL ME BEFORE YOU MAKE THE VIDEO AND GET OUT OF DODGE! I NEED TO BE THE F**K OUT BEFORE HELL BREAKS OPEN!

Just a gentle hint to cover my ass with yours. LOL!!

But, Seriously, I don't know how these guys on wall street keep making this DOW going up???? I mean, even the guy on the street ignores the headlines and says "things are turning around". How is it possible to see the doom and ignore it outright? You guys are smarter than me. Please explain?

  • It all goes back to the priced in recovery. Bad news doesn't really matter to wall street, since conventional wisdom says that it will all get better by mid summer.

  • Pardon me, but, HUH??!! I don't get it. Priced in recovery? How and when was the recovery "Priced in"? Wouldn't we've seen this "light" at the end of this tunnel already? I don't see any. I am sorry for my ignorance, but, how is the summer going to be better when most people on wall street leave on vacation during that time? Less brokers jumping out of windows is considered a recovery?

  • KittenKattan-Your exactly right, there is no summer recovery. It's never coming, but the dogs of wall street have one fully priced in every time they have bad news. Right now Wall Street Math looks like this,

Bad news + Summer Recovery = Good news, were getting the worst behind us.

Good News+ Summer Recovery=Great News, were almost to the summer recovery.

It's an assumed summer recovery, conventional wisdom says were going to have one, so that's what wall st leans on when they have bad news

  • We have seen a lot of losses this week, as well as earning down 60% from last year. The facts on the ground are not being priced in, since wall street believes they look 6 months out. What they don't want to admit, is that 6 months out, main street will be a lot worse.

  • I understand your imagery, but actually, no brokers jumped in 1929. Hello from France! Have a good day, and batten the hatches.

  • Kittenkatt, The has always been enough money behind the big wigs to manipulation the market. Also the PPT (george bush's team) have actually been employed to help stop it. Thats why you are seeing such movements.

When majority of people start panicking and start pulling all their money all hell will break loose. This will happen soon though and will be catastrophic!!!.

  • So, how is the summer going to change the situation? Please see my comment to VisionV. about a minute earlier.

  • I agree.

  • Thanks, Bob. I will check it out.

    Peace.

P.S. is it okay that I call you "Bob"?

    Let me know.

    John.

  • Of course you can call me Bob :)

  • LOL!!!. Please call me John. :-)

  • biz. yahoo. com/ap/080414/finance_meetings. html

    Very interesting.

  • Hey Everyone,

Have you guys seen all the international food riots in the last few days?

Man, if that comes here (Meaning our poor start rioting), New World Government big time. In a matter of days if not weeks. Scary!

  • Kittenkattan, Yes unfortunately this will worsen as the food crisis intensifies!

Starvation can make you do unimaginable things. Sadly I hope I am wrong!

  • Fricken scary! I own my own business here in NYC. I was speaking to a City Firefighter who is local and he said he can barely feed himself and his family with the current food prices. He is actually thinking of going on public assistance to feed himself. I can just imagen 6 months from now!

    Keep in touch.

    John.

  • myspacesecrets- Should be a lot to talk about after this week wraps up. Look forward to your commentary later this week.

  • I believe the FED knows EXACTLY what its doing. these people confirm the conspiracy theorys about intentionaly crashing the market to gain control of us.

  • Yes, we will have to wait and see what develops. Lets watch together!

  • Dow jones is currently at 12,325 and S&P is at 1,332. By next Friday April 18th, Dow will close around 11,600 and S&P will close around 1,240.

Gold will surge Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Closing around 1,000.

  • Bob, don't you think the FED will come to the rescue before we hit 11,900? I see the dollar hovering around 72. And you know it is because of the G-7's "concern". Every time I think the shit is finally hitting the fan. "Helicopter Ben" comes to the save the day. When will these Wall Streeters finally learn the end is near? Your thoughts?

  • thx myspace:)!!!! keep doing what you do!!!

  • Virus, Expect to see a slower crash with bigger drops here and there!

You will see a severe recession which will turn into depression. Probably by beginning of 2009.

Lots to happen before then though.....will keep you posted.

  • you guys think we'll see an economic collapse by the end of this year?? and perhaps we'll feel it here in the US early next yr???

  • Hey Myspace&bdc03. Thanks very much for your thoughts. Appreciate it. In Japan the only silver bullion I could find that they sell is a 30kg bar! (just a mere $17,500) I've had to order online from the US.

  • Dude, nice move. I commend you for taking action.

You will do well with that consider the price of silver at the moment!

  • Hey there. Want to ask a question about gold/silver. If&when the crash/currency crisis occurs and the value of our gold&silver holdings soar& then peak, what currency (if any) should an investor then sell their gold/silver for to have the liquidity to buy into supercheap assets/property?

  • The crash is imminent. Crash of the USD is planned and will not be a quick process. But long and drawn out, and painful.

Stick to a strong currency like Euros!

  • Just barter with your gold/silver. Silver for like basic things such as food. Gold would be like a house. There may be a silver shortage coming here soon. The Treasury hasn't put out the 2008 silver eagle's yet...or at least a number of them. They were supposed to put the shipment out I'm talking about a month or so ago. They've quit taking orders and said no more til the end of April. If they come out and say no more expect silver to shoot up a ton.

  • I am not sure that there is a shortage of silver. The Fed has caught on to what people are doing and they are purposely cutting is back so they can screw us once again. It is like a game of chess.

  • Yes! Stock up on food now before it is too late!

  • Also remember to stock up on items such as shaving cream, razors, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, soap, etc.

  • Bananas 89 cents a pound, in the past they were 29 cents.

  • You said that Gold would continue to go up.....What do you think about "Silver"?

  • gold will continue its climb! Silver too. But as I said they are longer term investments. Buy on dips as I have been!

  • check ur sound....

  • Just switched on telly, and OMG one analyst is saying we are still in a bull market, and this is just a small blip.

I will have to interview him at the end of this year, to see what he has to say for himself LOL!

  • Hey myspace. Something is wrong with the sound on your video. Very loud and a little distorted. Take Care my friend.

  • thanks matey.

  • Anytime.

  • If we expect a market crash to global, will most world currency be affected including australia, new zealand, etc,.

If there is a liquidity crisis as in the

30's, will my money (depending which country your in)worth more if I put some aside and not all in the bank.

    Good work on your videos.

  • Watching that dollar index start to creep back down. Remember what I said about 70 and below.

  • Down down down, the ring of fire. Funny thing is, its only indexed against other debased fiat currencies. Imagine what a dollar index would look like priced against a basket of food, or should I say shopping cart. :)

  • So true. That seems to be what we are headed for. I used to eat Ben&Jerry's pint ice cream when it was $3.99 or so and now it jumped up to $4.89 over night for a pint. I believe that a lot of companies will price them out of the market and eventually will go under because of higher prices.

  • You and MOT are the Prophets of the 21st.

Century. Great job. Keep the videos coming.

    Peace.

    John.

  • Kittenkattan, bless you! I am ridiculed for my beliefs sometimes. But they are the TRUTH! I will keep posting because of people like you and the friendliness here.

    Really thanks!

  • No problem Bro,

I tried to email you but it kept failing.

Well, When the crap hits the fan. We will be looking toward you and MOT for advise. So will CNBC, Wall Street Journal, etc...LOL!

Keep it up, you're doing great work.

    Peace,

    John.

  • not so sure that they'll be looking to anyone for advice, they'll have the govt and institutions' PR to work off, coupled with limited editorial capacity. no one will say shit about the fed, IMF, world bank. It's funny, it's not like these guys didn't know the system was fucked, but they're just slowly rolling out the increasingly negative assessments in turn, IMF today. And when the US announces they can no longer service the federal debt...

  • Well, all I can say is: TRUE THAT!!!!!

    Well said.

  • Can you enlighten me as to what "MOT" is?

    Many thanks.

  • Have you invested in silver myspace?

  • Great videos, keep it up man. Loving them.

I know you said the fed is to dumb with what they are doing, but maybe they are just really smart. I mean, you have to think they know exactly what they are doing. They are business owners right? So, they are just doing what they can to make copious amounts of money.

I look forward to the day when it is gone, which will be very soon. To many people know the working of this system to keep working.

    Thanks

  • Gold fails to bang my logical gong - OK it's nice and shiny (and you can make lovely earrings out of it - but I only have 2 ears)

And the "moron hazzard" rule applies - I'd feel an idiot if nobody would swap my lump of metal for a potato I might have my eye on

  • I see the failure of your paper currency unfortunately.

Gold is cheap compared to where it will be in 24 - 36 months from now!

  • Great Video update. I just posted a new one myself, should be up soon. Always enjoy your commentary Myspacesecrets. Look forward to you future prediction, Oil hit 112 today :) According to CNBC oil was crashing 2 weeks ago LOL

  • Oil will have these sell off rallies, but its going wayyyy higher in the mid to long term.

Been calling it since the $80 level and they said there was 100% chance of it not going higher.... LMAO!

  • Oil going up as expected:

I'm glad I only live 8 miles from work. I did that on purpose by the way. I fill my tank when it hits 1/2 (about every other week). I'm generally only a fair weather bike commuter but now I may continue to ride even this winter. I'm also glad I went to work for public transit. Things would have to get REAL bad before they start laying off bus mechanics.

I've been expecting an economic meltdown for a few years now. They all scoffed but it looks like I was right.

  • Thanks for the update. I totally agree with you regarding your comments on the Fed. They're trying to bailout everyone. The "moral hazzard" issue here is HUGE.

  • Thanks for the update.

  • YES! I see very strong growth in the soft agri commodities!

  • Hey myspace,

Just wanted to know what you think of the IMF thinking of selling 400 tons of gold. How do you interpret this? Keep up the good work.

  • They aren't thinking. They are going to.

  • if they are selling gold to supress the gold price to make the economy to not look so bad, why would they tell the world that they are selling 400 tons of gold, why dont they keep it secret ?

  • How can you keep selling 400 tons of gold secret?

  • myspace, so, you think softs are a buy? Thanks.

  • I own wheat, rice and corn. But I have invested in the index also. Probably buy more on dips.

As I uploaded the vid Commodities Climb Most in Two Weeks as Crude, Gasoline, Corn Hit Records....LOL classic!

Prob give a vid on this later!

  • Thanks myspace.

  • The commodity price is tied also to the fact that there is a demand for corn being produced for ethanol as well China is getting a taste for grain fed cattle. At least that is what our media is currently telling us. Makes some sense according to the supply demand curve.

  • Yes, and bad weather (freezes) and droughts have damaged many crops as well, all leading to tighter supply while demand, due to ethanol production (stupid) has been increasing. At least, that is what they tell us.

  • Many people in the UK are under the impression the US dollar has leveled out at around $2:£1. What they don't seem to realise is the pound is following it down the crapper. Today the pound hit a record low against the Euro €1:£.80 and the Euro is having pretty stable strength compared to them both.
