I saw this music video when it first aired on Canadian tv. I think Ellen (on piano) is so attractive. After all these years she still makes my heart skip a beat to hear her sing. CTD started around the same time as Bare Naked Ladies. I'm an American living in Washington state and I think Canada puts out some great music performers. Keep Rocking EH....

Ellen released an album called Cinderellen back in 2001. I have been trying for ages to try and find somewhere that I can buy it so if you happen to come across it please let me know. The Crash Test Dummies did do a Christmas Album, its actually a really good one called Jingle All The Way. I just bought it this year, and there is a different version of The First Noel on the album. Not as stripped down as this one, but the album is good.

"The first Noel" has been performed every single year for centuries. It wouldn't have been if it was anything less than a near perfect piece of music - that holds true of many Christmas songs. Hat's off to the Dummies for bringing this one that much closer to perfection.
