My question would be with regard to the "overhand punch" defense, if the punch received is powerful (like most), is that "blocking" arm expected to collapse (like say to into bong?) to absorb the energy? And I'm wondering if that step is inward, backward, outward, or angled? I would assume this would faciliate say a "bong-geurk", then chain punches. Thank you in advance for entertaining my question. (btw- I train jow ga if your wondering ;-)
