  • did not mean to dislike! great tho

  • It looks like they are using the wrong graphic here, they should have used the CTV Two banner between 0:31-0:35 at the end of the sign-off video to avoid confusion, have they updated that by now?

  • The CTV Two ID shown between 0:01 - 0:05 is the standard ID, they have this same ID, but retrofitted to include the Bell Media logo at the end? Is that right and can you upload one on YouTube?

  • A 2011 sign-off? Now *that* is awesome.

  • @MattTheSaiyan My town still does one for it's CBS affiliate!

  • what weird is the ctv two sign off here in ottawa.. we use the ctv two logo

  • Whoa! No Canadian anthem and no God Save The Queen either!

  • What? No national anthem at the end of the sign off?

  • @CelesteK Wonder if that's a new trend if only the CBC does the anthem only? Noticed often a few countries where that is common.

  • @RetroToledo Locally I think there's just two stations that play national anthems when they sign-off - CHNU (nightly) and Seattle's KIRO, when they sign off on weekends. A couple just switch to a static card with music in the background, and one or two others have brief messages they incorporate into the broadcast day without leaving the air. CBC's local French language channel CBUFT was signing off and running the anthem but they may have now switched to the 24x7 format too.
