  • Shdow of the day FTW!

  • Mk16 order was halt

  • so you don't know what "pass in flight" is?

  • What sights so you recommend for this rifle and what caliber?

  • @leebog31 batle feeld says its a carbin not a rifel

  • @leebog31 lol, just kidding, iron sights, electric optics or scoped optics?

  • Best assault rifle ever.

  • guys lets be honest USA dont know to play with any other weapon besides "M4" even HK had to make the HK 416 with the "M4" looks other wise US troops can.t handle the weapon .. lol

  • @Nomadpsp Yea. It's all the politics shit they do. That's why the XM8 never got adopted. Man that was a nice rifle.

  • @deathrooster14 no it was because it got two expensive

  • @ltveco8 too*. Your argument is lost when you can't even spell "too".

  • @ltveco8 yeah but if you buy two you get the third one for free

  • @Nomadpsp: Bullshit.

  • @Nomadpsp a typical european/African/Asian/South American person who thinks theyre the shit and know everything because they arent in the US. Lets go by numbers. 1) Have you ever even been to the US? 2) U.S Soldiers don't choose what weapon they will be firing. They are assigned a weapon dumbfuck. 3) The U.S Is adopting a new weapon system for the standard infantry unit soon, or already have accepted one. 4) Not Every US soldier uses an M4. M16, SCAR, M249, M9, M24, M107, rocket launchers.

  • @Airsoft1287 okay but you think the reverse never happens? plenty of americans out there who are hopelessly clueless and prejudiced toward europeans and everyone else...

  • @Nomadpsp

WE use the m4 because of "ease of use" and the amount of extras out on the market. what other weapon should WE use? the ak? The Iraqi army AND Afghan military adopted the M4 as well. WEIRD!!! WHY COULD THAT BE??? hmmmmmm...

  • Do the 75th rangers still use this in limited service? Or was it discontinued? seems like every decent sounding rifle put up for selection gets shut down because of "problems". more like too much money to replace a 45 year old, working, but admittedly flawed weapons system.

  • Half will complain about having an M4, switch rifles then the other half will complain about not having an M4. Since the US military now owns the design rights to the M4 it makes economic sense to keep the M4/M16 design---so look for a new more expensive rifle to burn up tax revenues collected. I'm more of a caliber change supporter than changing the rifle itself. The M4's reliability issues are overblown, way overblown.

  • @oeyesea To what caliber?

  • @kilomph1 6.8 for the M4/M16. That makes more sense than buying a new rifle but it would be nice to see this in the marines

  • Good Shooting!! I cant wait to pick mine up very soon. Is that the Trijicon Acog with the Red dot sight on top??

  • such a good gun.

  • damn nice aCCURACY

  • every shot was a hit , cool man

  • so i am guessing its not Ambidextrous then? or is it?someone please educate me i am a Right handed shooter my brother is a left handed and he doesn't like hot brass all up in his face like with my AR-15

  • SOF must love this weapon!!!

  • The only bad thing about these guns are they're expensive to manufacture and they have a tendency to jam on auto, that and the reacurring bolt, dang that hurt lol

  • should take better care with those mags.

  • thats alot of $ in his hands....and flying out the gun

  • i LOVE that firing sound, really one of the best rifles ever!

  • but MK17 has a stronger recoil doesnt it?

  • @Franzlimones i believe so, mk17 uses the 7.62, its a bigger.

  • nice shot... love to hear the double tap...thanks for uploading

  • @OneManWar13 theres NO recoil to the m4 either, theres no point in using this weapon, the m4 can do anything this gun does and then somemore.

  • @OrloTheM3D1C There's NO recoil in the m4? Really... Have you ever fired the M4? Sure the recoil isn't much, but it's definitely present.

  • @sinthuxmachina haha have you looked at the comment above mine? i was using his terms and yes i deploy with this weapon so one would hope that ive fired it and with a nice after market muzzle break the recoil is basically non-existent

  • love this gun

  • The only bad thing about this is the muzzle break works like a charm but is LOUD as fuck!

  • doe any of are troops even use that gun if so is it scar l or scar h

  • @skater96x Yeah the us rangers use both scar l and scar h.

  • @TonyGreen13CA The US Army has no contracts pertaining SCAR-Ls

  • @TonyGreen13CA i dont think so, couple years back there were only like 600 SCARs issued to rangers to try out and i beleive they were all heavy.

  • @OrloTheM3D1C Yes. that is true your correct on 600 rifles issued. but 200 of them were scar l. and the scar h is used most however scar l are used for urban combat and CQC= Close quarter combat.

  • @OneManWar13 recoil???????

  • the AK-200 Assault rifle would shit on this rifle lol

  • What would you do without our belgium guns ;)

  • Not Trying To Troll, But.........

I Gotta Comment on The Dump Pouch Being Used As A Pull Pouch While The Mags Just Hit The Dirt.

    Really?

  • @prswhore Its at a target range, it doesn't really matter there.

Also, protip: You don't capitalize every word in your sentence. It makes you look like a fuckwit who didn't learn grammar in school.

  • This is the gun I'm going to ask for when I enlist in the SEAL program. Now to whoever wants to give me shit like "It's tough kid, you prob. wont make it"

My dad was S.T.3 during Desert Shield and Storm. So it, the determination and die-hard patriotism, run in my blood.

  • good luck son but its real tough kid @RetartedAmericans

  • @RetartedAmericans you could also try the rangers. they use the mk17

  • @RetartedAmericans another american war pig, ready for slaughter by the soliders of ALLAH

  • @BrendanIsCool War is inevitable. So long as there is man, there is war. Your profile says you're from Ireland? What about the IRA and their counterparts? Face it; until humanity is gone, war will exist. Furthermore, I am not willing to die. That's why I'm going into the SEALs; They don't die.

  • @RetartedAmericans don't be so trolled so easily my man

    and there is no god

  • @RetartedAmericans SEALS dont die? really...

  • @gazzthompson SEALs don't die, they are just missing in action :p

  • @RetartedAmericans "Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel." Samuel Johnson

  • I am from Texas with two AR's. I can assure you that not everyone from texas and our country is an idiot like AntBanks2626.

  • tick tick, plink, tick tick plink

  • DREAM ON YOU ANTI AMERICAN PRICKS WE HAVE THESE IN OUR HOMES AND YOU ONLY HAVE YOU TUBE AND VIDEO GAMES...FUCK THE QUEEN AND THE WEDDING...TEXAS OUT!

  • @AntBanks2626 You are the reason why people hate Americans. Jus' Sayin'

  • @AntBanks2626 lol the best guns aren't even ours. stop being so fucking hard kid and go back to playing cod. Agreed, @Goontrader2

  • @AntBanks2626 By the looks of this, you probably dry fire your rifle at everyone in your family.

    -Missouri

  • ill gun

  • Would not want to be on the receiving end!

  • One of the best rifles ever...20 bullet magazine but every shot worth it

  • @luizengrazia1 It can hold 30 bullet magazines as well.

  • @luizengrazia1 The Mk.16 fires the 5.56x45mm NATO round.

Those are the cartridges stored in the STANAG type magazines, the most common one is the 30 Round STANAG as used in this video, you are thinking of the Mk. 17, which chambers a 7.62x51mm NATO, which is most commonly used with a 20 round magazine.

  • @ipodplaya Aaaaaaaaaah..cool

  • @ipodplaya Actually, he's thinking about cod.

  • @lilgangstabowwow The Mk16 Scar Light was not featured on call of duty, its higher caliber cousin, the Mk 17 is on there.

  • @ipodplaya I wasn't even talking about either one.. he's just saying that because he saw ''FN Scar'', so he thinks it's the MK17 or as he knows it, SCAR-H from both modern warfare games i think.. just saying it's a kid who thinks he knows everything because of CoD. I'm aware which is what, I was in Afghanistan for 420 days ;)

  • @lilgangstabowwow I take back that past comment and I respect you for serving our Country, sorry for the misunderstanding.

  • @luizengrazia1 you're thinking about cod aren't you because it only holds 20 bullets there right? the gun can hold up to 40 bullet mags, depends on the bullet itself.

  • for anyone that cares: "military.com" is run by Monster Worldwide (the online job hunting company) it has NO affiliation with the "military" whatsoever. They explicitly claim NOT to represent the government of the United States and explicitly state to have NO affiliation with the government. It is simply a social networking site for military personnel or wannabes. Most of the articles, unless otherwise stated to be an official press release, are simply fluff written by contributers.

  • These things are kinda small for a rifle. But they KICK ASS.

  • Good shooting mate.

  • the Mk16 project is being planned to be cancelled cause its just another 5.56mm platform,so unless they replace ancient m4's, that's the only way it could survive

  • @sawyerbobby where did you hear this?the mk 17 chambered in 7.62 and is exactly the same as its smaller counterpart except for the caliber..so if they were to pay for the mk series they would no doubt pay for both the mk16 and 17. No one really knows what their going to do about the m4 right now and anything you hear is just rumors. Heres a fact though, m4s often jam and have many ergonomic issues also the 5.56 is definitely lacking stopping power so it will be scratched soon.

  • @wesleysnipessss I was talking about the Mk.16 the Scar L,its just another round chambered with 5.56,same bullet same problems with ballistics

  • @sawyerbobby thats true, but its still better than the m4, my point is the military would most likely invest in both before completely getting rid of the 5.56, plus with match grade HTBT rounds the 5.56 performance improves greatly, the problem is full hollow point bullets are banned from war under the geneva convention, but hollow tips are still exceptable for use if they are indeed match grade rounds designed to improve ballistics and not damge per say

  • @wesleysnipessss instead why don't they invest in coversion kits to 6.8 grendel

  • @sawyerbobby that would work too but thats why I think the acr is the better of the two ars. It can be converted to 6.8 rem spc or 7.62x39 much more easily than the scar, the kits are not currently available but should be soon, I dont think that the military will scratch the 5.56 anytime soon though, I agree that 5.56 is lacking but as you've seen it takes alot to change the militaries mind on budget spending especially when it comes to replacing the main weapon and caliber carried by infantry

  • he could use sleight of hand

  • @srdjankovic GTFO

  • Comment removed

  • What state is this? I didn't know full auto weapons were legal. Pretty cool.

  • @achang34 you have to have a class 3 lisence to have one.

  • 1:31 that odd "hehe" made my day :P

  • weak mani atay na lng...tae

  • I read the Rangers in Afg. did not particularly like the FN SCAR MK16. If it had the reciprocating charging handle and the tool-required takedown I could see why. The general consensus with the Rangers who used FN SCAR MK16 was that there was no appreciable difference between it and the M4/M16. The FN SCAR MK17 is a different story because it was well received by the troops, SOCOM bought more MK17s as a sniper support rifle. I like the ACR better TBH.

  • So, how cross-compatible are the L and H versions? All I can think of is the buttstock and charging knob.

  • is there a citizen version of this? if so, where can i find it

  • @quick153 yeah there is a citizen version you can find one at your local gun shop. Just ask I'm they can get one in a couple of days or so.

  • @quick153 hey when you find out if there's a citizen version lit me know

  • I'll take the HK416 over this any day.

  • @chrisbristol Amen. I do though like the look of the SCAR-H (SV)-The sniper variant.

  • I dont think Scar is a good rifle. It's to fragil and easy to break,

  • @cadd2010 have you ever used it? no... and what makes the scar more fragile than any other rifle? (nothing)

  • @ReptilianDeathRay Lol,you definetely has no idea about waht you're saying. Please, dont talk about what you dont know.

  • @cadd2010 Judging by your spelling and your posting history I somehow doubt the veracity of your claims.

  • Oh, and then there's your age... 15... Stick to gamepads for now.

  • @ReptilianDeathRay Lol,so what? What's the difference between been 15 or 30? lol. Scar = good rifle, but not that good, i still prefer the old but good M16. Trust me,SCAR will fail in the battlefield. USSOCOM is making a terrible mistake.

  • @cadd2010 You're such a conservative idiot that doesn't no anything about weapons.

  • @billieguitar Its MY opinion, so,the idiot here is you. It doesnt matter if im right or wrong, im just expressing MY opinion, and i've got this right.

  • @cadd2010

    you can have an opinion

but when you have nothing to back up your opinion you make yourslef look a complete fool

i can back my opinion up that the SCAR is a much better weapon then the M16/M4 series

why? various tests in the field in afghan and around the world in the hands of other nations have shown a perfect weapon which fixes many flaws of the M16/M4 series

  • @TheBlinkMIDF Yes ok,you also have your opinion. But i won't change my untill SCAR proves its value for a long time.

  • @TheBlinkMIDF well obviously. Its amazing when you stop and think how old the M16 really is. People think it was made in the 60's but it was only adopted at that time. Really designed in the 50's. So its coming up on 60 years old. Service length is absolutly astounding, and it is already an american legend, just like the Garand. When people think US, they think of a tan fatigued soldier carrying an M16. As much as I love it, you are right its time to move on, and the SCAR is a worthy succesor.

  • @TheBlinkMIDF the fn scar is far from pefect with its poor bolt catch design and reciprocating charging handle, also the barrel isn't easily removed, it should be improved before its used in the military

  • @wesleysnipessss whats wrong with a reciprocating charging handle? please reply

  • @TheSamuraininjaguy well since there is about 7-8 inches for the handle to slide back the violent action causes more recoil also if there is anything blocking the handles path this will cause a malfunction and stop firing, and with the bolt catch design it is a hassle to clear any jams or malfunctions, the ACRs ergonomics are much more efficient

  • @TheSamuraininjaguy not saying the scar isnt a big improvment on the m4 because it most definitely is, it is a good gun forsure, however the main reason the navy seals and marines didnt adpot this system was because it hasnt been thoroughly developed, and since in fact it would be out of their pocket theres no rush to jump into a carbine system before it has reached its full operating potential.

  • @wesleysnipessss oh ok thanks :)

  • @wesleysnipessss Pardon for inquiring but I read up that the Rangers procured about 500 of the FN SCAR light and that SOCOM in fact does have the FN SCAR heavy in there inventory but does not use them yet. Unless this info is wrong?

  • @acepilot121 thats true, i dont know when their gonna replace the m4 in combat especially since the acr is the better gun

  • @wesleysnipessss Ah ok. Yeah ACR would be the better choice but all depends on how much the military actually wants to pay for it. Plus the ACR had to be recalled when it was first released due to some firing mechanism malfunction.

  • @wesleysnipessss Has the ACR been battle tested? Who uses the ACR in battle? I thought they just came out no too long ago?

  • @Thegreatwhitedevil83 what do you mean battle tested? acr and scar are not currently in any military inventory anywhere in the world so of course niether is battle tested, they both came out in 09 for testing. They're obviously both being tested extensively before they can replace the m4 and m16. tests are being done by not only military infantry but by many gun critics and magazine writers, majority say the acr is currently the better weapon.. so its back to drawing board for fnh's mk series

  • @wesleysnipessss the mk17 is used by ussocom

  • @BAACCOOOOCk no they dont dude, they have them for testing but when they decided to make the switch from the m4 they were told they would have to pay for them with their own money so they decided to wait, i read that in tactical operator magazine like two months ago, i doubt that they changed their mind in that two months

  • @wesleysnipessss either your source is wrong or you are just plain ignorant. The mk17, the 7.62 rifle, is used by ussocom. go to kitup.military<com(website run by the military), hell even go to wikipedia and search it and it will say your wrong. Pro tip for you: dont argue with someone unless you know your gonna win :) (you lost this one if you are too slow to comprehend it)

  • @wesleysnipessss USSOCOM is not the navy, its actually the special force head. SEALs, the 75th ranger regiment, 1st SFOD-D(Delta), DEVGRU(SEAL form of delta), just to name a few, are in it. USSOCOM uses the Mk17, and has LIMITED numbers of the Mk16. There are many kitup articles refering to the SCAR, and reading one(incorrectly, btw) makes you look stupid. Also, since when is the navy not part of the military? Alas, since your slow, US SPECIAL FORCES USE THE SCAR, regular infantry DO NOT.idiot

  • @BAACCOOOOCk your 15 years old....enough said, i dont come onto youtube so i can argue with little kids, if you were in front of my face saying this shit i would smack the shit out of you

  • @wesleysnipessss well, seeing how you reacted to my previous entry, I think we all learned a valuable lesson: Age does not represent knowledge or how mature an indiviual is.(you got slayed with true information and maturity by a 15 year old....... I also love the fact that all the people you reply to on this video with your cod info, which, in all honesty, is a lot, dont like your uneducated comments either. Once again, dont argue with someone like myself(valid info) unless your info is correct.

  • @BAACCOOOOCk listen kid we were talking about whether the m4 could potentially be replaced by the scar, no one was even talking to you, all your doing is copying, pasting and regurgitated obvious info from diffifferent web articles, I could care less what you have to say about this issue so stop commenting you little shit

  • @wesleysnipessss Well sir, if all this info was so obvious you would have got it right the first time, correct? I can spit my words myself, I dont need to copy and paste anything, and if Im wrong(which is rare, because I only speak if I know something for sure) I am open to listen and check its validity. You dont have this trait yet, maybe some day you will. And by the way, dont call me a kid, because Im sure Im closer to a man than you will ever dream to be.

  • @BAACCOOOOCk no your an immature, annoying little pussy, and im sick of getting emails from your dumbass commenting back...fuck off kid

  • @wesleysnipessss Well, lowering yourself down to my level makes you worse than me. And why, if your tired of being corrected(which being corrected isn't a good way to live, because it literaly means your calling your self a dumbass) do you always have to have the last words? Does that make you a man and me an annoying little pussy? No. And since I don't know your age, I can only assume Im talking to either someone below my age or someone who lives in his mothers basement as a middle aged man.

  • @BAACCOOOOCk military.com are wannabees who aren't affiliated with the military at all kid.

  • @lilgangstabowwow Actually they are journalists enlisted in the military Mr. Bow Wow. Do some some research, oh, wait, too gansta for that, huh?

  • @BAACCOOOOCk It's an account made by my 13 year old brother 2 years ago who loves bow wow not me. I was in afghanistan for over a year, These guys on military.com are researchers who aren't enlisted in the military, they followed me and my fireteam at my first week as NCO near Bagram. Sorry, but you're wrong. And one question. Do you think the name made by a 11 year old kid(13 now) is any more ridiculous than your name? Just get your facts right before you start stating something kid.

  • @BAACCOOOOCk Oh and another thing, They also followed us a couple months later when I was a PSG in the 4th platoon RCT Regiment in Qandahar and I asked one of the guys. His name was Chris Michel and he's the founder of military.com. Their main goal is advertising and military themed products, not the military bases themselves.

  • @lilgangstabowwow Advertising and military themed products...... thats why its called kitup..... it talks about the US fighting mans kit....... and all I was trying to tell the other dude is stuff everybody already knew about the SCAR and how the MK16 funds went in the shit can and how the MK17 funds didn't, and I gave him an article to read where FNH confirmed it to the kitup people. Im 15, so my accounts name makes sense bro. Don't argue with kids either, because it makes you look like an ass.

  • @BAACCOOOOCk They aren't affiliated with the army dumbfuck

  • @lilgangstabowwow All I was talking about was the stuff going on with the Mk16, and to mention "Call of Duty" makes laugh my ass off. You entered a conversation that wasn't yours and tried starting shit with a kid. How mature does that make you look? All of the kitup people are either afilliated or once afilliated with The US military, I mean shit dude they even have their own military sponsored radio program. Get your facts straight before you argue with a kid. Im done talking to you idiot.

  • @BAACCOOOOCk I know the guys who run this site they've never been in the military that's my fucking point they've never been to war or never even been assigned in the fucking military. And fyi, your earlier comments about the mk17 are wrong too kid.. I never wanted this to be an argument, just said that the owners of the site are wannabees, which they are, never assigned in the military that's my point you know nothing more than i do since i fucking know these guys i'm done talking too kid.

  • @lilgangstabowwow One of the guys who helps run the site is an x-seal, and another one is currently serving..... he even did an article about how he found himself on wikileaks faggot. My Mk17 facts come straight from FNHUSA's website and kitup, and defense review, and thefirearm blog, shall I go on? I can't believe they even let fucktards like serve in the military. Your blocked.

  • @cadd2010 Mk16s and Mk17s use a newer, short-stroke piston system that reduces an incredible amount of grime and fouling, which in short means they're not NEARLY as reliant on the shooter as early M16/M4-series weapons. And you're sitting here trying to tell us that you prefer a weapon that absolutely *must* be cleaned after every sitting if the shooter wants to stay alive.

You go right ahead and tell that to every Marine who got killed because he was busy fucking with his dirty-ass M16 barrel.

  • @Soddykins I prefer a M16! MY opinion! Because it has proved its value on the battlefield. Scar has just prove its value on tests. If the Scar go to the battlefield i may change my opinion.

  • @cadd2010 Actually M16 lost war in Nam.

Scar has been accepted by Navy Seals and Rangers, now it serves in Afghan.

  • @cadd2010 the scar's barrel is designed to maintain MOA for over 90,000 rounds thats almost double the amount of the M16 or any other conventional assault rifle

  • @wsmarines1 LOL!! so what?

  • I love that gun!

  • you need a silencer

    it's better believe me

  • @robertdman why hes target shooting? loss of range and stopping power after about 200m so unless it is necessary to be quiet there is no reason for using one

  • The Mk 16 Mod 0 is a beautiful assault rifle in my opinion.

  • @HopefulxFrogman Hell yeah. Beautifull & useless. Like my wife.

  • Scar or ACR?

  • @CrzayMazy Are you fucking retarded? Read the title MORON!

  • @X15Studios You're obviously on a much lower level of brain capacity since you really think someone asks that question while the weapon is clearly shown and the title is more than readable. No need to burst out in anger my friend, I was just curious if you guys would prefer a SCAR or ACR since they are rivals for as far as I know.

  • @CrzayMazy Im gonna have to go with X15Studios on this one. you should have worded your comment different, I believed you were asking what gun he was using.

  • I heard there are people in the USA army who are using this gun not just special forces. I think this is a very good gun and should be sold more :) :)

  • does the scar have a lot of kick

  • the scar is excellent at single and 3 round bursts but it seems to be a bitch when it comes to full auto

  • @monimstarfox what gun isnt a bitch in full auto?

  • @monimstarfox I should rephrase that, which rifle isnt a bitch in full auto? :)

  • @fusionstar916

    quite true

lol .22's arent too horrid though

  • He handled the recoil like a pro.

  • @Qh31 The SCAR 16 doesn't have significant recoil at all.

  • dude the sound shot by shot is awesome. what are you talking about that it sounds bad for SF..?

  • @beadie5... Almost all Special Forces group work in the night, if they have to use the weapon the sound that produce it is "bad" because like yo are watching is long and tall, the enemy will follow by the echo's weapon, it can use a suppressor but not always. I agree with you in the especific sound that the gun produces is great, but I´m talking about of decibels are very high.

  • @Arpon001 yeah i see what you are saying. if FN or whoever is making the SCAR tried to fix the sound of it, how do u think they wud fix it?

  • @beadie5,Changes in the powder, adding a retardant to not burn so fast, changes in the tip of the barrel, a nozzle that has changed as the barret, etc., Everything has its pros and cons it would take speed of the gun, but as was made for special forces, would remove the speed, more focus in the accuracy some like the TAVOR from israel, a special team would never be discovered because it is trained to be stealthy. I would put this weapon to conventional forces is very good... but not for SF.

  • I don't like the sound shot by shot, the noise It's too long and tall, that is so bad for a Specials Foerces Team. The designers have to work more on that for future versions., in full auto you end up fast all the bullets, you will need a special magazine with 150 bullets, the gun is good but needs back to the drawing board.

  • @Arpon001 that's the echo...

  • @hedonismrocks... Yes that is the problem the echo is very high and the enemy can find it faster where the sound is coming. In iraq like this place the M-16 works well because the sound it is short, if you see come videos the soldiers shoot and they wait to see the enemy, because the sound of the M-16 delay some seconds and when they see them(terrorist), the platoon or sniper already have the enemy in the sight. But we are talking about from a new weapon more advanced, HAS TO BE BETTER.

  • @Arpon001 This is on a firing range and the berms on both sides are what makes the echo so audible.. Has nothing to do with the rifle itself, it's the enviroment. Plenty of videos out there show the SCAR being fired in open terrain - without the reverberating echo. Please... :)
