February 2nd is the official release date, and its more than likely going to be monthly, but I don't know for sure. And I'm totally going to quit WoW for this as well. =)
I was the only one filming in the room at that time. Maybe a other time slot they filmed it, The guys did this set for 8 hours a day and for 3 days long. And i split it up in 4 parts.

I was wondering; wasn't the monastery on P'jem destroyed by the Andorians? I guess they rebuilt it. I hope those silly Vulcans don't get the idea in their head to make another deep space monitoring station. I'm really excited for this game. Seriously.
Zinc says at some point in this video (and in other interviews) that you'll probably be able to turn off the blue trails. They are rather long... I'll probably turn them off so I can pay attention to the other visual aspects. You can actually see the ship move through clouds/space dust. Can't wait to get my hands on it!
I agree with theman712 and tamgros, STO will be something new in MMO univers and SWTOR will be more like WoW. OFC i could be wrong but time will show. ;)

Cryptic has to release some official footage, this game looks absolutely awesome in motion. Still not sure about the blue trails though.
