Actually, the orientation of the gamecube wouldn't matter since the game calibrates it's gyroscope every time you turn the game on. (This is why you could still play the game on the GBA SP and the DS)

You know, you probobally could've done it way easier by using Visual Boy Advance GX for the Homebrew Channel. The emulator offers special controls so you could probobally used the gyros in the Wiimote.

@JohnXT7, he had to do that to actually record good quality footage of the game because, since it needs a gyro sensor, it is incompatible with an emulator except with a patch but even with one the control is not as precise.
