It's a piece of software called Abelton.

It's a hell of fun to use!

I got Ableton but i use it 2 make music i use Traktor 2 dj, so is Ableton jus syncing tracks 4 him?

He uses Ableton Live. It syncs up the tracks and also allows you to set up and edit samples. I also use Traktor as well to DJ.  I like Traktor, but it could sync a bit better.

I used my laptop 2 dj las nyt n my reloop controller dnt hav interface so i didnt use headphones jus kept pressing sync yet felt lyk cheating in a way, sort of means anyone cud stand n press sync n then dj if u get me? Makes me feel lil better knowin BREAKBOT does it but still ....

I feel ya. It does feel like cheating, but what makes Breakbot stand out is his planning and song picks. I feel like a great DJ does a lot of prep work and practice. I find a lot DJ's just wing it, but I'm a fan of learning and memorizing sets....I don't use headphones with traktor. It's useless for how I set it up. What controller are you using?

I do alot of prep work it was a fashion show i dj at so knew wat sond wanted to play, i hav used Cdjs in clubs but jus cnt afford them at home so got a Reloop Digital Jockey controller Edition 2 it alot of fun, but takes away the aspect of beat matching when shows the pitch of each track on screen, but suppose each to their own alot of djs do use laptops to aid them these days. Wish i learnt vinyl make me feel better lol in a sense of homage to the art.

Nice, I use the Vestak VCI-100. It's pretty much the same thing. I wish I would've spent more time with vinyl, but hey we started where we started, and that aint bad. How do you like the CD-DJs?

@jonnyactor he's using ableton to do more than dj tracks. if you notice he goes from Phantom's Revenge - Absolute Ego Riot to Mr. Oizo but he also blends that together with a sample of Works For Me - The Twelves. Ableton is more about using your tracks and adding original beats, synths, and slamming your producing skills into a DJ set. You can get really in depth. Check out The Twelves, they use Ableton Live and each set the play sounds different because they pick and choose samples, not djing
