  • Gimme a thumbs up if u bitches remember this from Empire or The Basement in Dallas!

  • Classic 1988! The beeps remind me of a Casio watch from the time!

  • this guy changed music. inventor of rave music, jungle eventually.

  • Masterpiece of the 80

    Punch in the brain!

  • esse som marcou época, dancei muito

  • fantastica house allo stato puro

  • Stupenda..che ricordi..

  • Scooter - She Said

  • reminds me of the roller disco when I was about 10!

  • @tokyohands ha hah - me too

  • I remember vividly hearing this when I was 15 and snuggling with my then GF round hers. I swore that her alarm was going off and was trying to turn it off !!

  • @lewis72 With you on the 'alarm' thing. I remember checking around to see where the 'alarm' beeps where coming from, thinking it wasn't on the record. What an absolute musical mas(h)-terpiece.

  • This is a journey into sound

  • what a track tim simmenone was a classic and quite right oohmatron71 is that a ref to carry on matron what a film and my birth year as well you right and it will remain so music nowadys if you can call it that isnt in the same universe

  • Delirium

  • I still have this on 12"

  • this is one of tunes that made my life as teenager turn into a liofe of complete & utter party madness & it made my soul grow & I would'nt change a thing still lovin it large, smokin spliffs & trying to dance even at 40 & on a walkin stick due to a bit of maadness

  • I used to have this in my record collection :D

  • walking around the streets with my sonywalkman playing DIS,

    back in the day.

  • hold up this song was from a gropup called M.A.R.S. ???

  • @CITYGROUPTV You're thinking of "Pump Up the Volume" by M/A/R/R/S, another jam from the UK DJ culture that also came out in 1987 and used tons of different samples in a similar way.

  • @CITYGROUPTV

nope...pump up the volume was by marrs .. this is beat dis by bomb the bass

  • He was my classmate @ SAE. London.

  • this is sort like other 80's house tracks like s-express, innercity big fun,Marrs, technotronic pump up the jam

  • this is an incredible tune, full of suprises.

  • @oohmatron71 likewise apart from being 39 lol, still have the 12" upstairs.

  • It's so good when I find songs like this... and i'm from 84.

  • @oohmatron71 True, so true :)

  • 2 guys got here looking for Justin Bieber

  • @oohmatron71 This was my fucking music that i grew up with! Keep this freqeuency clear?

  • This was the club music you listened to on the way to the club that someone who was cool enough to have a razor maid 12" made a dub on a cassette for you. I loved this stuff!!!!!

  • @oohmatron71 not that innovative - there'd been similar stuff for a about 5 years - right back to Adventures On The Wheels Of Steel, plus Dynamix 2, Paul Hardcastle 19, LA Mix loads of stuff - this just crossed over to the pop charts (as did 19) but it was one of many on the London pirates

  • the cover of this from the start of 1988 was the first use of the smiley face in the context of English dance culture (aside from its use at Shoom which only a few people saw).

  • Class in a half pint glass what a tune!

  • My first experience of a shabine........wooooff, what a night that was !!

  • <3 <3

  • yeeeaaahhhh !!!! straight from amsterdam !!

  • Viva les années 80!

  • @oohmatron71 you are a couple of years older than me, but yeah this was/is a big tune!

  • Sterophonic sound! You play rochamolla this way.

  • keep that frequency clear

  • So f...king good music

  • Number 1, lol. Fuck things were bad.

  • 2 people dont no what it all meanz

  • takes me right back, knew the guys from sxpress, cool even to this day

  • left my bomb the bass ,stuff wi an ex ,prob on tip now, silly bitch!!!!!

  • this is the origins of dubstep. sick to know your history of a genre you love.

  • @jabbee198624 How is it? Its neither dub or 2step garage...

  • @maccavel187 Its an origin of uk garage and its origin is hip house and hip house and its origin are acid house. listen to this beat. has similar beat but newer Synthesizer still with drum keyboards. this song revolutionized music in a global way. now we have house jungle techno electronic.

  • @jabbee198624 This has fuck all to do with dubstep. Dubstep is the malformed, ugly, slow witted bastard offspring of Drum & Bass and bad 2 step. To try and say that Tim Simenon is connected to it is blasphemy.

  • @ajmarshal1 Read the other comments, he's not talking about that sawtooth wave fidget mutant.

  • love those morse code beeps

  • Old school!

  • I've listened to and danced on this track in early years thousand times!!

    !

  • Back in the days of true vinyl beat mixing. Not this "slap in a CD" BS that DJ's do in the clubs today

  • @webbusinesskit "Back in the days of true vinyl beat mixing", CD's don't beat match themselves, you still need to have an ear for it. I mix on CDJ's, but waiting to get a set of vinyl before you jump on me.

Beat matching is only part of it, a lot has to do with creativity, imagination, stage presence, performance.

I've seen live remix's, mixes that blow your mind, and they don't just "slap in a CD" they're true masters. It's about moving with technology and making the most of what you have.

  • My vinyl copy is dated 1987, but I have a longer version on a free cassette from a petrol station! This took sampling to a new level. Great post.

  • Da Bomb Bass! All that scratchin' in makin' me itch!

  • Vancouver BC Tourism used this in a great TV commercial showing shots of the city and hotels.

  • There's not a problem I can't fix...

  • Just found this vinyl treat on discogs...wish I had a venue to spin it though :(

  • 1.28 - 2.00 mins makes my groin area damp with excitement. Seriously good tune

  • what a fuckin top tune for a old en

  • oh tempos

  • I beat mine every hour upon the hour!!!

  • Beast house song........

  • Actually, I beat "Dis" (E3M8) on nightmare mode without breaking a sweat.

  • "Beat This" sample uzed from Afrika Bambaataa'z "Lookin' for the Perfect Beat"!

  • fuckin 80' music rocks u can never never match it , was so glad i was born in that era to live it and enjoy it ...thanks for the memories :) :) :) :)

  • ok waiting for the amv for this one. its got the jamz just needs a string of pix to jump with da licks

  • this music sounds Amiga 500, I love it.

  • @gabrielirlanda Amiga was good for music very good so was the Atari 500 both where the electronic musicians choice for sequencing back in the day

  • @SnellSchnell hehe started making electronic music with an Atari 500, old Yamaha keyboard and an S1000 here, not quite as early as this tune though ;)

  • many thankssssssss dancevideocollectio
