  • looks fun

  • just incredible...

  • This is awesome, Might I ask how the guitars were prepared?

  • A piece of flexible plastic about 1 inch wide woven in the strings.

  • wonderful song keep up the good work!!!

  • I think both the music and the musicians are good! The music is funky yet a bit mysterious. It is time to have something different, you know, from Bach, Tarrega and Carcassi!

  • keep up the good work. you guys rock!!

  • Great stuff! good to see kids playing guitars rather than video games. More please. And to the guy that said the music wasn't a masterpiece...you godda be kidding.

  • The playing is wonderful, and the piece is realized in a marvelous way. It is a further delight to see and hear the confidence and precision with which each guitarist plays. Real music flows from what could easily be a complete mess in lesser hands. Bravo (Brava)!

  • Interesting music, good young musicians. I hope to see more of them here.

  • I liked the songs, and the young guitarists. They all seem to be well disciplined.

  • The music is bad, but musicians are good!

  • You are right about the musicians.

  • what are some good afropop musicans?

  • There are many. Try Oliver Mtukudzi, first. Great grooves.

  • Kevin, I also teach guitar. It must be great to teach an ensemble of such talented young musicians. Is there any way I can get the score for this prelude? I would be much appreciated!! Aron in Denver

  • Mtukudzi is indeed very good. Some of the older Afro-Pop that I would say is must have in your library is Fela Kuti. There is a really good live CD with Ginger Baker on it also. Get that.

  • why would anyone put TWO on this?

  • The piece is not really that bad, though obviously not a masterwork. As a vehicle for young performer ensemble playing it works quite well.

I'm surprised everyone is rating this so low. Chill out, folks. ;-)

  • Very nice, I'm not sure I'm a fan of the piece, I love seeing good fundimental technique in young guitarist though. Keep practicing!!! That was great to watch...
