@FinalTrap Thanks for watching! This part of town is really beautiful, even though most of Manhattan has plenty to see and enjoy. Hope you're having a great holiday!
I really hope you do rent the movie and you will be able to see all the levels of the Brownstone. It is a much older movie and it also has James Caan and Jeff Bridges in it. It is a delightful comedy in my opinion and just because it was filmed mostly in that Brownstone, it has become one of my favorite movies.
If you want to see a beautiful Brownstone and the inside, get the movie Kiss me goodbye, it's an older movie with Sally Field in it.. This movie was totally filmed inside the Brownstone and it looks very much like those white Brownstones you are filming in this video.
They say many who own these brownstones actually hate them. They are so tired of vertical living, climbing up and down stairs, forgetting something on the 4th floor and have to climb stairs again.
@Squirralbait Good point. It's good exercise, but then there are so many rooms and different levels to keep track of. One advantage: privacy. It's nice to have different floors to separate different activities, like sleeping, eating, studying, working. There are also some beautiful woodwork, windows, and details in many of these townhomes. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for watching! It's a great neighborhood to live in, and there are surprising numbers of "urban birds" living all around Manhattan (even hawks and a few falcons!).
Glad you enjoyed this vid, Brittany! Thanks so much for watching. It's fun to live here and you can discover something new and unexpected around every corner, literally every single day. We love it! Best, Jay
Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful! I really admire the architectural detail found on these townhouses, just beautiful to look at.
Thankyou for all your videos, westend104. Although maybe not many people comment on them, they sure are very interesting to watch. It really makes me want to live in New York while watching your videos.
Thank you so much for watching, and also for your lovely comments. We try to capture details that catch our eye, and I'm happy these are helping you think of New York (one of our favorite cities ever) as you watch! Keep on watching and commenting -- and I must say that Australia is a VERY beautiful part of the world to live in (went there in 1992 and would love to return!). Best regards, Jay
................absolutely beautiful!! Id love to live in a building like this!! People should check out the circus in Bath, England. Another beautiful location!!
Thanks for watching and commenting, MJD! I know the circus in Bath very well, having once had an office in Cheltenham. And you are right -- gorgeous!! I too would love to live there or in one of these townhouses. Posh, posh, posh.... Seasons Greetings, Jay
