I don't think you'd need to go to gym if you have one of these new foundies. Just wrestle with it and it's basically bench presses + cardio altogether!
i've watched all of your videos about gizmo, and i find him amazing. this is one of my favourites because of his soft voice. :D you're pretty lucky because i saw a lot of newfoundlands, but i think he's more than the most beautiful bear from all of them. he reminds me of my old dog - he was a bernese shepherd dog.

As they get bigger, get raised bowls that are appropriate to their height so they don't have to strain their neck bending down, get your Newfie a puppy pool for the summer (and fill it with ice-cold water), and get it tough toys or the toys will be ripped apart the instant they get rough with the toys. ;)

Gizzy is magnificent.
