The palette itself has the same wording as the box-top, heat-stamped. I also found it odd that there was a hinge already broken, but I couldn't find the part, which is odd if it had never been opened before. <:-/
I wish BF still had the old 1, or I'd have ordered from them.

My concern really is that there are obvious prints & smudges from hands & fingers, on the black plastic surrounding the shadows, which makes me concerned that either they were manufactured/packed without gloves (very common among private label companies in videos I've seen recently), whether my eBay (cont. 2)
So, I *finally* received my Manley 180 palette from a different eBay seller, since the Beauty Factory's one is different now. It took 15 days past the maximum shipping estimate date, & I ended up getting contradictory stories from 2 different people from the Hong Kong Post Office, from the seller, false information on the customs tag, & 3 different stories from the USPS, about what had happened, & why it seemed to disappear of the face of the earth for 2 weeks. @PeanutxButterxL0ve how long your shadow lasts depends on what primer you use. I never wear shadow without too faced shadow insurance first so all my shadows last 10-12 hours. No shadow would last on me longer than 5 minutes without it even the most expensive brands.
@lollipap3erin well I don't want to sit down and count through all 180 shadows. Some are matte, some are satin, some are shimmer and some are ultra shimmer. They seem to have pretty even numbers. I don't think any one finish dominates the palette.
@ThePinkLadyJ I was wondering that too, & while the BF Cosmetics website doesn't have the 180, they do have it in their eBay store, & state that it, "includes 60 matte and 60 shimmer and 60 neutral warm eye shadows colors." Which is kind of strange, since "neutral warm," besides being an oxymoron (I get the feeling that cosmetics use different definitions of "warm" & "neutral" than traditional art does, so I am guessing they mean muted warm colors?), is also not a finish description. *shrug*
@MissJupiterWheels BF is selling the new 180. The older one (the one I have) they discontinued because the crappy sliders kept breaking in the mail & they were loosing their shirts in replacing palettes. The one's like mine that people sell on ebay are left over stock from the wholesaler. They changed up a lot of the colors to also improve the palette like dedicating 1/3 of it to neutrals (which isn't an improvement at all for someone who loves color like myself so I'm glad I got the older one)

I have the 120 by manly. It's SO good. I'm getting this one in 2 weeks I'm SO excited. I'm also getting a fraulein 66 lip pallette which is realy good. All together inc postage it's like 34 british pounds. SO GOOD. Seriously I've had my 120 for ages now and I LOVE it.
i recently bought the 180 one it arrived today! the colors are beautiful. the mirror is cracked and im returning it i hope they can let me keep it and send me a new one
@Evaesis it's called Too Faced Shadow insurance and primer keeps your eyeshadow from fading into your skin, makes them more vibrant, prevents them from melting or building up in the crease of your eye if you have oily eye lids basically it keeps your eyeshadow perfect and fresh for 8-12 hours

@kalahari72 It's been temporarily recalled because the plastic case was too fragile to survive shipping in most cases. Last I heard the manufacturer is working on designing a new palette case, one that's a little more durable and once they finish they'll re-release the palette for sale. You can find some 180's on eBay but it'd probably be better to wait for a better case and get it from a reputable seller when they're re-released.
The pans in the 180 are the same size as the ones in the 120 about the size of a dime. In one of my older vidoes where I compare the costal scents 88 and the 120 I actually whip out a dime and a few other standard shadow sizes to show people how big the pans are.

I've had this palette since July and its never stained my eyes and I think I've used most of the colors. Always use a primer and you should be okay. As for eyeshadow that stains this one doenst seem to but if you ever get eyeshadow that does stain use tea tree oil soap and a cottom ball it removes any makeup stain.

You can try ebay but be careful which sellers you get it from beauties factory is a good ebay seller too but I dont know who else is a good seller you can usually save some money by getting it on ebay
@death4496 Mac is a more expensive name brand but some times they can make the occasional dude shadow that really isnt as pigmented as it could be. They're generally considered to be very high quality
@ladyfaealicia how it worked was I didnt have to buy insurance with my palette (if bought off their site), but I bought it after my palette arrived broken you pay $6 and show them its broken and they send a replacement

@QueenHadasseh coastal scents and bf beauty both have good inexpensive brushes (which I've used and I like them). I've also had a lot of people tell me they like elf brushes (available in drug stores), but I havent personally tried those.

are you talking about the marbelized ones? They're really good I swatched one of the orange ones at 3:05. The 180 has that whole row of marbelized shadows (containing the orange that I swatched) plus a few of the same marbelized ones that are in the 120
Yes, thanks, I have some mineralised eyeshadows and some baked Laura Geller duos, I was unsure how these would work in comparison. The orange one you swatched at the above time is so bright, I want my 120 already, the wait is so anoying lol!
I'd go with the 180 because it has more colors but its 45-50 dollars if thats too expensive the 120 has 120 of the colors that are in the 180 usually for about 15-20 dollars less than what you'd pay for a 180

The wholesaler company that makes the manly palettes is the "same" one that makes the coastal scents 88 palette (and a lot of their other palettes). Same quality just different amount, size or colors of shadows.

I bought this same palette from an Ebay seller. It came completely broken. Some shadows were a total loss, but worse, the top of the case did not stay closed and the trays were broken from their hinges. There was bits of black plastic everywhere. I did get a full refund & got to keep the messed up palette. I want a good one but I am afraid to try again. I think the seller sent me a return item. The case lid had been taped with plastic tape. I may order from this company. I do love it.
The 1st one I got the plastic was cracked a little & 13 shadows broken, but the seller was very good about helping me with the problem. I just sent them a picture of the broken shadows and $6 (I think its for shipping or paperwork) and they sent me a second palette (I didnt have to send back the 1st), the 2nd came even more heavily wrapped than the first (and I thought the 1st was very well wrapped I just have a rough mail lady). The 2nd one showed up A-Okay!
Its going to be risky buying any pressed shadow palettes online because they're so delicate and breakable and the sellers can't guarantee that delivery people arn't going to drop or rough up the packages so theirs always a risk involved but as long as the company has a refund or replacement policy even if the shadow doesnt make it alive the first time you know you can keep trying until one does survive.

You can try ebay but be careful which sellers you get it from beauties factory is a good ebay seller too but I dont know who else is a good seller you can usually save some money by getting it on ebay

@death4496 Mac is a more expensive name brand but some times they can make the occasional dude shadow that really isnt as pigmented as it could be. They're generally considered to be very high quality

@ladyfaealicia how it worked was I didnt have to buy insurance with my palette (if bought off their site), but I bought it after my palette arrived broken you pay $6 and show them its broken and they send a replacement

@QueenHadasseh coastal scents and bf beauty both have good inexpensive brushes (which I've used and I like them). I've also had a lot of people tell me they like elf brushes (available in drug stores), but I havent personally tried those.

sorry fr asking maybe some el se asked already :P .. but what are the size of the pans for the 180 palette? .. my sisters got the 120 palettes and i must says pans are kind os small i mean they look big on videos ( not much i know ) but i though they were a lil smaller than a 26mm pans

I purchased the exclusive 88 one turned up other went missing and i got told by seller to rmeove feedback form neg to positive. Oddly i didn't do it as I never received it. Luckily I have proof.

the blues look good for the whole cleopatra eye. I keep hoping they will just bring out a palette of the mineralised eyeshadows. I asked and they had no idea what I was asking for:( I feel like petitioning to them, as they look so pretty!:-)

are you talking about the marbelized ones? They're really good I swatched one of the orange ones at 3:05. The 180 has that whole row of marbelized shadows (containing the orange that I swatched) plus a few of the same marbelized ones that are in the 120

Yes, thanks, I have some mineralised eyeshadows and some baked Laura Geller duos, I was unsure how these would work in comparison. The orange one you swatched at the above time is so bright, I want my 120 already, the wait is so anoying lol!

@makeupalltheway The 180 has matte, satin, shimmer and ultra shimmer. There (last I heard anyway) is currently only one color version of the 180.

I'd go with the 180 because it has more colors but its 45-50 dollars if thats too expensive the 120 has 120 of the colors that are in the 180 usually for about 15-20 dollars less than what you'd pay for a 180

The wholesaler company that makes the manly palettes is the "same" one that makes the coastal scents 88 palette (and a lot of their other palettes). Same quality just different amount, size or colors of shadows.

I love this palette mines came broken as well, the case it broken right off three shadows were broken but i used the alcohol method to repair it i was too eager
but i am still going to send them the pics cause one is complete out cant even be matted!! this color is pay off and im dark skin

I bought this same palette from an Ebay seller. It came completely broken. Some shadows were a total loss, but worse, the top of the case did not stay closed and the trays were broken from their hinges. There was bits of black plastic everywhere. I did get a full refund & got to keep the messed up palette. I want a good one but I am afraid to try again. I think the seller sent me a return item. The case lid had been taped with plastic tape. I may order from this company. I do love it.

The 1st one I got the plastic was cracked a little & 13 shadows broken, but the seller was very good about helping me with the problem. I just sent them a picture of the broken shadows and $6 (I think its for shipping or paperwork) and they sent me a second palette (I didnt have to send back the 1st), the 2nd came even more heavily wrapped than the first (and I thought the 1st was very well wrapped I just have a rough mail lady). The 2nd one showed up A-Okay!

Its going to be risky buying any pressed shadow palettes online because they're so delicate and breakable and the sellers can't guarantee that delivery people arn't going to drop or rough up the packages so theirs always a risk involved but as long as the company has a refund or replacement policy even if the shadow doesnt make it alive the first time you know you can keep trying until one does survive.
