Thanks Max for letting me know that it was Bono. a # 1 song in my book ! I just like the song. We all have 'been there' and we all have our tale to tell. Again, I like the song and all who take a liking to it, no matter the style.
I love how Terry Reid sang this song and how Nancy Sinatra sang it too. Their styles were completely different but, they both still delivered and both versions awesome!
I can see why this guy was on jimmy Page's short list of potential lead singers for the ' New Yardbirds ' a.k.a Led Zepplin. Can't help but wonder what that band would have sounded like. Anybody know if Pagey ever wound up recording anything with Reid?

I found the gay groupies to be more annoying than the women... Though the guy talking in this about the drums is spot on about the drumming!

Thank you! I just watched this in "Groupies" and was blown away. It was especially welcome after listening to those annoying chicks for so long...

I've always (est .. 20 plus years) loved this song. I have the original album. What is with the gun in the video?
Disgusting ! Not about the gun or anything at all ( I have a gun myself) but where did it
go from good to trash ? This is not what the song is about. We all have lost loves, we don't shoot
them, we just move on .. What the F...! Terry Duh !!!!

I spent 3 hours with this amazing man at the 2nd Atlanta Pop Festival. I really he would have got the credit he deserved for his talent. Great guy.
