This is really a stupid discussion. That said - people of the Balkans are really not very religious. The most religious peoples of Europe are the catholic Poles, followed by the catholic Irish. Protestant countries are in general not very religious.

What You say about reading the bible is really besides the point.

Hopefully Balkan countries will look ahead and see that the future is neither in religion or ethnic purity. The future belongs to science and tolerance. (At least the bright future!)
