Why give it some prehistoric arm that can break easily and wastes lots of energy?

why not do something smart with lasers or electricity? or give it a brain and a fishing net? why not design its dinner in a way that makes it easier to catch?

why not make it digest water for energy and save it the trouble of hunting?

If you're gonna invoke god as a magic designer, then you'll have to concede that he is awfully stupid or unimaginative sometimes, and just not all he's cracked up to be.

@sazer123 "natural selection" is when a trait works better and is then passed on. Evolution is more is more or less based on this idea. But, at the same time, life has a way of makeing intellegent design. I think it's like the same way that we build new things. We see what we want, then find a way to get there.
