I think alot of people on here are missing the point. Its okay to like both AVGN and IG, no ones debating that. But a ripoff is a ripoff, period. Its not just that IG reviews retro games, its that he does it in the exact same fashion as AVGN (getting cartoonishly angry, having random skits with game characters and costumes, etc.) without any hint of originality on his own. Its a carbon copy. If you're going to blatantly rip something off, at least add your own flavor to the mix.

There was recently a TMNT video on YouTube that Mike Matei narrated. It was part of some scam spam thing. This was linked to on Cinemassacre. So I left a comment that I was disappointed that they took part in scams like this and that Chris Bores did the same thing and still gets shit over it. The comment was then removed and I was banned. So that's yet another similarity with Chris Bores. They both ban you if you have anything other than mindless praise for their shit.

For instance, even though I like AVGN's version of BTTF and TMNT more than Irate Gamer's, I do, however, like Irate Gamer's review of The Magnavox Odyssey more and I also like his Mario is Missing review more as well. As for their ROB The Robot reviews, I'd say they're about 50/50, so it's a tough one..
