what's this band called then? he actually got a REAL guitar player that CAN play leads. i know he had that last yum yum, bubblegum band audio something but this isn't the same band is it? is this a solo "chris cornell" project? i'd get this now that he has a guitar player.

@PinkyWontWork The band is called Run Through The Desert, Chris hired them as a touring band for all his solo tours the last few years. I saw them in person about a year ago and can attest they all rock!

Same here. Morello's solo is an unspired, phoned off POS on the original. Parts actually sound out of key. Thorn is simply a better guitar player than Morello, who, in spite of bringing numerous innovations to guitar playing with RATM, has not done anything cool in a REALLY long time.
