I wondered that too the last time I saw a BA commercial - the only connection I can find is that BA is one of like 20 something airlines that have refused to carry or haul whale products or blubber from countries that take part in the hunting and killing of whales. Makes sense when you think about it. I guess it's their (BA's) way or paying tribute to the wonderful creatures.

LOL I really hope your dont think that that was a real plane. And did you know that planes use a different type of fuel? And also are becoming more fuel efficent? The Dreamliner will be 50% more fuel effeicent then any plane once it starts to fly. This same thing is happening with many other airplanes as well.

And if you think about it. Its better to have 400 people in a plane (747) then on the roads. That would waste more gas.

Yes, we don't have a US base at the moment. There are plans to operate our Boeing 757's and 767's from locations in Europe such as FRA or MUC to the US but not heard any plans to hire US based pilots yet. All of our FA's and Flight crews are London based.
