Yes, also when Hakkinen retired Schummy didn't have anymore completion. If Seena had survived he would have won the 1994 championship and probally a couple more after that. Schummy is a very good driver, but like you said, he was backed up by a fast car, and that's half the reason why he was so successful. Yes, also when Hakkinen retired Schummy didn't have anymore completion. If Seena had survived he would have won the 1994 championship and probally a couple more after that. Schummy is a very good driver, but like you said, he was backed up by a fast car, and that's half the reason why he was so successful. Look at what happened when Schummy got the F2005, the bloody Honda's were flying past him. I rate Seena higher than Schummy.

The fact Senna was hard done by, and went on to lose his life 2 races later makes it even more horrible, they are two great drivers yes, but in completley different leagues, but I will always prefer Senna.

I was at Imola on May 1st,1994, and at the end of the race,which he won, Schumi was LAUGHING out loud on the podium, while everybody knew 2 drivers had died that weekend...that made me sick!

Aida - Passed Senna using launch cheat.
Imola - Senna was full of fuel to make 2 stops. Schumacher was did 3. Senna did the 3rd best lap in the 6th lap.

Just see one interview with Prost to confirm this. Senna have the suspect that Benetton are using illegal things. And of course, he said to him that the Williams-Renault have defects in suspension and it so difficult to Renault put and align this power with this specs. And of course only one failure stop him in the 1st place.

MS won many races! Cheated many of them at Benetton - went onto Ferrari and from the get-go bullied his way into every teammates contract - then manipulated most F1 rules (Silverstone GP 98) won in pit lane. Another rule that the FIA had to change!!!

They used an illegal refuelling valve without the safety features required to allow faster refuelling. In another race they used illegal type of wooden planks underneath the car to be able to go faster.
