  • This made me cry in slow motion.

  • thanks so much

  • I didn't understand anything :)

  • hey! thank you so much for this video, please watch my cover i did learning by this video :D

    /watch?v=D2dcTpoe4b8

    thanks

  • @babysaoul good job! enjoyed it. it made me wonder how you superimposed the graphics over yourself playing. don't have to answer, I won't be doing that :)

  • Finally I could master this song up to 8:14 took me awhile!

  • THANKS! You're a life saver! Now if you woul djust put up a tutorial for Passing by- By Yiruma :)

  • Hey bbdhrggl can you put in the note in the video? please?

  • @BlacheXScude I started this project to inspire reading music. giving notes would be counterproductive. I made 3 intuitive lessons to get you started. search "taking the mystery out of reading notes"

in the meantime, focus on my finger movement, not the keys under them. good luck.

  • @bbdhrggl Hey bbdhrggl is 03:09 note is Left Hand: F5,C3,D2,F1 Right Hand: GFlat1,D2,Gflat5 Right? or did I see it wrong? Cus when u play that note it sound right but when I play that note it doesn't sound the same? sound different. Did I see it wrong? please reply!

  • @bbdhrggl Hey any way to simplifie the G*1,B2,G5 At 03:21 for right hand? cus I can't reach it.

  • @BlacheXScude hey is not very polite ;)play the bottom note , then quickly jump to the two higher notes. Or, skip one of the notes, usually for the RH, the bottom one is not as important

  • @bbdhrggl oh that's a really good advice! :)

  • sorry, i know this is geared towards more inexperienced pianists but it really exagerates the pauses to the point of agony and some cord names would be nice instead of the stupid beats thing cause if your learning it off of a youtube video then chances are you are doing in a freer er sense and make those kinda decisions for yourself.

  • @bekdot1 why sorry? my tutorials are plainly not for you, that's okay, right? :)

  • Hi, what do you mean by level 5? the difficulty?

if it's the difficulty, then what's the highest level?

  • @icycoldwind my scale - the level corresponds to the number of years of piano playing, i stop counting at 10

  • @icycoldwind 10

  • excellent tutorial. thanks.

  • amazing !!! very helpful , thank you very much :-)

  • I'm happy that you made this video, but in some parts of the video i can't tell which notes your hitting, no offence. Your still very good at this tho.

  • @theyasianboi try a different approach? focus on finger movement, not the keys. also, start learning to read music? i made three easy lessons to get you started. most of my tutorials are meant for those who follow sheetmusic.

  • do you think i will be able to learn this song... without any piano experience? :O

  • @ericma000 yeah i did and ive never played piano before haha

  • @ericma000

You can learn anyting as long as you spend the time in practicing, I cannot read complicated piano notes but i can play on pure memorization and practice. Now to the point where i can improvise , Put your heart to it and yes you can! =)

  • @ScrapCakes Bro, there is no better angle :)

  • I can play the song without right hand(bass) I found out myself where to push the targent, hahha.. I try to learn, but I suck.

  • @ScrapCakes It is illogical to expect seeing the keys under my fingers. I would have a hard time too if I weren’t following the sheets. The method is imitation, so focus on my fingers. If you are still interested, try some Level 1 or 2 songs to get used to the method.

Are you learning to read music? I made 3 easy lessons to get you started (website links).

  • i just hope you are pretty :)))

  • @michaeljoseph63 I wish I weren't :)))

  • can some one tell me if a rookie like me will be able to play this with hardly any experience at all? i really wanna learn to play this melody...

  • @0asian1nvasion0 Practice makes perfect. ;]

  • I love this song! This is a great tutorial too. I would love to hear you play this song normally.

Anyways, does anyone know where I can find the sheet music for this song? Or if the poster could send me the sheet music? I would appreciate that very much!

I've been looking for it, but I can't seem to find it :\

If anyone could help me, that would be really great.

  • @trankwility thanks, but we can listen to Hisaishi himself play it! :)

I usually skip the at tempo version if mine won't serve any purpose.

  • Thx :) it helped but could u show what key ur like pressing coz i can barely see what notes ur playing.

  • @OrangeFatFLuffycats @wierdofacevicky try to focus on my fingers, not the keys under them. if i touch my nose, you can touch yours, even without seeing either nose. same principle. read about your mirror neurons, and trust them. good luck. :)

  • @bbdhrggl This has actually helped me very much in learning it. I looked at another tutorial for this song before coming here, and this one has been much much more helpful. Thank you so much for making this, keep up the excellent work!

  • i really like this toutorial but it took me a long time to figure out the begining. if you could maybe go slower and show wich note you play first that would help so much more haha :)

  • i really cant read sheet music so when i play piano i rely too much on video tutorials . This one is amazing! although i have problems when one of the keys you play show a letter on the bottom when the key is not shown. :P so now im looking for a way to actually read sheet music. It's confusing to me but i really want to learn this song ! Thanks for the tutorial!

  • tyvbmvbmvbm

  • oh wow i thank you very much i really am grateful for all your videos!!!

  • u pause too long

  • @Catcherintherye11111 let's not be selfish. the longer the pause the easier for some.

  • good job, but you should have added the notes, and cords. it wouldn't matter if it was two parts.

  • @codmaniac101 thanks, but you should learn to read music. If I gave notes you never will.

  • @bbdhrggl Can your please please do the tutorial for name of life T^T I love tht song and try to learn it but theres no tutorial~~ please T^T that music was so sad T^T btw thx for update it =)

  • @Elyshazz pls follow request instructions on my website. no promises though. too many requests to manage.

  • Thank u for the tutorial!!!But....can you try to post up the tutorial for either waltz of chihiro or itsumo nando demo??Thank you again!:)

  • little hard,i had to pause everytime cos there are no letters. nonetheless,, great tutorial.. beautiful song

  • Great video! It helped alot! I taughth myself how to play the piano (I played Clarinet before) so I dont have much experience. I think I have the 1st page figured out, but the2nd page is a real struggle... any tips for the second page?

  • @NattiesLyrics i don't have the sheets anymore, what measure does p.2 start on? now that YT allows longer uploads, I can use wmv to slow down that part for you (sound will be distorted)

  • @bbdhrggl Thanks! It starts on about measure 20 I think... Its just so confusing! Ill just keep working at it...

  • @NattiesLyrics you have almost the same life as me O_O

  • @pianotrainer153 O.O How so?

  • @NattiesLyrics Well not exactly but like, i played clarinet b4 piano xD idk

  • @pianotrainer153 Oh haha thats awesomeee (:

  • @NattiesLyrics wow im just like you!!!

  • @bbdhrggl ur a good teacher!

I'm a beginner at piano and I almost mastered this song,

but I don't know when to use the pedal...

    could U help me???

    plz...

  • @beegeesish experiment by listening. hold the pedal down, release before the sound gets "muddy".

some music book editors include pedaling instructions. check the library?

  • @bbdhrggl ty i'll do that.

  • near end too fast still >..>

  • Thanks very much for this. I, like dylan, am just starting to play a bit after many, many years and am teaching this song to my 12-year old. I was a bit concerned with my fingering of a coupe of the chords and the best way to approach the lowest notes. This cleared it up for me. VERY clear and ABSOLUTELY true to the sheet music. My only wish would be that you could put the chord names up, also. These chords are very complicated and I'm having a problem figuring out a few of their names!

  • @EquiPro sorry, I don't know chords. Do you need that for piano to improvise?

  • @EquiPro Thanks for writing. Sorry, I must have clicked your comment by error when answering the viewer about being "lectured". Hope you've figured out the chords out by now. I don't know chords and just play whatever the sheetmusic says.

  • i know you probably have been asked this a million times, but could you please send me the music sheets ?

  • @xkeikooo yes, that another reason I don't send sheets. the other being copyright. sorry. :)

  • I CANT SEE WHICH KEYS ARE BEING PLAYED BECAUSE THEY ALL LOOK THE SAME AND THE HANDS ARE ALWAYS IN THE SAME PLACES... I WATCHED THIS LIKE, 10 TIMES AND I STILL DON'T GET IT D:

  • @koshykoshka monkey see monkey do, means watch the fingers, NOT the keys UNDERNEATH D:

Pause the video, can you follow a short segment? might be a good idea to experiment with an easier piece until you get used to the method

  • @bbdhrggl ok, ok D: i was just giving my opinion on this video, no need to give me a lecture :( , sigh :( :'(

  • @koshykoshka that's a lecture? thanks!

  • @bbdhrggl ur welcome :D im sure everyone will be scared of u if u lectured them coz i was D:

  • @koshykoshka in all my years of teaching (math), i don't think any of my students were scared of me when I lectured them; coz they knew I was right, and most of all, cared about them. :)

  • @bbdhrggl WOW!! u're a math teacher? that's sooo kool 8D well, im only 13... and i've had my tutors/teachers, if i were a tutor in my opinion is that if u cared about ur students u wouldn't lecture them(i know that u learn when u get lectured) like my current tutor right now :D she's soooo nice and she never ever lectured me :) she really cares :D im sure u're a great tutor though, i learned a lot from ur vids but it took soooooooooooo long for me to figure this one out...

  • @feewert42 anyone who makes a request must send me the sheetmusic. the tutorial is made for that one person :)

  • @bbdhrggl yeah i notice, my bad! sorry its totally right!! thank you vey much!! this is a awsome tutorial for ths song! i owe you much!!

  • @feewert42 u don't owe me a thing, just enjoy playing the piano. ok?

  • many thanks!

  • can you make a hana bi - Joe Hisaishi tutorial pleaseeee.

  • @i6o4 pls read monkey site Request page :)

  • Thank you for this video. I'm 48 and getting back into playing the piano. I stopped playing waaaaaay back. Your video is a great reference tool to make sure I was playing and reading the music correctly. This song got me back to the piano.

  • wow! here it is! thanks

  • Best tutorial on Youtube.

  • thankkkkyouu :)

    amazing song.

  • I can't really see where your pressing...:(

  • @TOMOazn try focusing on the fingers, not the keys underneath. use pause a lot too. learn a tiny section at a time.

  • @bbdhrggl Oh okay! Thanks, that helps more Thanks for the tutorial!

  • Thank You SOO Much :D

  • Finally SOMEONE made a tutorial for this song!!

    Much appreciation!!

  • Thank you!
