Nothing pops up when i plugged the cable, and when i went to the memory under system settings, the usb storage shows up instead and asked to configure it...but if i do that then my old HDD datas will be erased!! HELP!!

On support on xbox.com it says that there should be a pop-up saying if you want to transfer from or transfer to as soon as u turn on your xbox but that isnt happening with me and when i go to memory it recognizes the transfer cable as a usb storage device. I NEED HELP TOO! But as your comment is 2 months old I was wondering if you could help me as you must of done this by now. Assistence would be much appreciated

@basharwha if your pc screen has an HDMI port on the back you can buy an HDMI cable and hook that up. Note if you bought an Elite 360 it should have came with an HDMI cable.

you can also use a usb flash drive ,just put it in the fat xbox ,move all the data to the flash drive then put it in the slim xbox and then transfer it over
