The graphics look fine on my ps3. I was hesitant to buy it at first, but I just finished beating SR2 (highly recommended.) And I can't wait to get started on SR3. wicked fun times.

I have it for PC. The graphics are very ugly and I have framerate issues with it. Weird because my computer exceeds any of the game's requirements. A computer really is a sucky compensation for not having a PS3 or Xbox360. But the game really wins for its character originality. How you can customize your character is really well done and how you can re-play it over and over again just to see some creativity is truly good. But the game does get boring over time. All in all, a nice game :)

@Mr16thPrestige Undead Nightmare isn't a full length game. It is downloadable content for Red Dead Redemption although you don't have to have the disc to play it. It's sort of like Festival of Blood for Infamous 2. I would definitely go for Saints Row 2 as it has alot more to offer. But if the choice of the two games was Saints Row 2 and Red Dead Redemption GoTY Edition, then you would have a harder decision on your hands.

It may be more fun but it looks like something out of the stone age in terms of graphics, especially after all the mods for GTA IV. Just look at it: search (GTA IV iCEnhancer 1.3 Graphics Presentation by Fonia5). There is no comparison. If you are poor and can't afford a good PC don't insult GTA IV. It's not their fault you are a bum.
I Would give this game 10/10 its one of the Best Most fun and Most funny games i've ever played and you can get it for around $20 now......Pure Awesome!!

While GTA IV is ALL serious and focused on the graphics. GTA IV is a very good game game but if you want that fun and crazy entertainment, go for SR2.
If you're going to have a fight between one GTA game and Saints Row 2, it has to be before San Andreas, where the game got all serious. @Icebolt666 Have you tried them both? Saints row 2 is a great game to have a laugh on. in GTA you cannot hijack a plane. Take a human shield. Throw it onto the plane. Get on the plane. Have you're buddy drive you into the air while you are holding the shield. Then throw them while you're buddy sky-dives. Trying to hit the car that pulls up when you skydive along with the body.
We called it "Impossible as hell game" And it was hilarious.

I got really into the first game and finished it, but i never really gave the second much time. When i heard about the 3rd game i just bought the second one again.
I prefer GTA's style of a reluctant hero. Niko is happy to just get by, but in Saints Row its about empire, you play as a greedy gangster who wants more and more.
I used to dismiss the Saint's Row franchise (played and completed San Andreas and GTA IV), but after giving Saints Row 2 a chance I now consider it the best gangster sandbox game on the market.
It has a lot of dodgy side activities but the crazy over the top storylines are a lot of fun to get involved in.

Saintsrow 1 had a fucking epic story fun and good multyplayer. Saints row 2 is funny good story not as good as the first but good the multyplayer is ok they should have just imported the multypayer from the first one I hope they do that in Saints row 3. GTA IV as a game disappointed me a lot, since after seeing all those flashy 10 scores in IGN, Gamespot and many other websites, I found myself with a game that was all about driving from point A to B, shooting some random guys, then repeating, occasionally with that annoying idiot Roman constantly calling you. "NIIIKKOOOO! WANNA GOO BOWLING??" If a game is to be compared with Saints Row 2, compare San Andreas. It'll be a fight to the death.

over all im a GTA fan!..and by looking at saint row 2 footage, you cant compare this with GTA 4.. this game looks more like a unreal destroy everything type of game. kinda like just cause 2. GTA 4, is more realistic, yeah that also ends up boring. but still!!! GTA forever.

i was i like this game alot but it seems kind of prejudice. its a game about gangs yet all the radio stations except 3 is nothing but heavy metal and rock, then theres no black gangs, the one that was once a leader dies, then i go to the prison island and see nothing but black inmates lol, i just happened to notice this over the 2 years of playing...

@SpunSeaLion Saints row 2. Guerilla gets boring quickly. Crackdown 2 and prototype are both sort of boringly easy.
Saints row 2 is the perfect game. It has co-op. It has planes. Human shields. And more activities then any other open world game.

@SpunSeaLion If you want a game where you can spend hours playing and get nothing done, definetly go for Saints Row 2. I've spent a week screwing around on that game without completing a single level of an activity or a mission.It's just good, mindless, chaotic fun. Where else can you have helicopter dogfights for an hour, and buy forgiveness at a church when you get bored of it?

@Icebolt666 Have you tried them both? Saints row 2 is a great game to have a laugh on. in GTA you cannot hijack a plane. Take a human shield. Throw it onto the plane. Get on the plane. Have you're buddy drive you into the air while you are holding the shield. Then throw them while you're buddy sky-dives. Trying to hit the car that pulls up when you skydive along with the body.
We called it "Impossible as hell game" And it was hilarious.
Can't do that in GTA. Can you?

@CJTheInvader Yeah i have tried both and i do love Saints row 2 and can't wait for the third all that stuff is great and f*cking funny as hell which makes the game uniqe and i respect the developers for not trying to make a clear GTA clone, But for me GTA 4 just feels like a better game to play.

I liked San Andreas, but sr2 isn't just over the top, it's silly. gta 4 is too gritty and serious, but sr2 is too cartoony and weird. San Andreas is still the best.

I can tell you have never played story mode all the way through, and watched all cutscenes of SR2.
SR2 has the revenge and the badassery where it is needed. It is the comedic standard, The game is not cartoony or weird.
That is, if you consider every show and every play that has atleast one joke in it too "Weird" Then sure saints row is.
You are just trying to equilibrium it. Make one thing too much blank, one too little blank. and one just right.

I got really into the first game and finished it, but i never really gave the second much time. When i heard about the 3rd game i just bought the second one again.
I prefer GTA's style of a reluctant hero. Niko is happy to just get by, but in Saints Row its about empire, you play as a greedy gangster who wants more and more.

I used to dismiss the Saint's Row franchise (played and completed San Andreas and GTA IV), but after giving Saints Row 2 a chance I now consider it the best gangster sandbox game on the market.
It has a lot of dodgy side activities but the crazy over the top storylines are a lot of fun to get involved in.

Saintsrow 1 had a fucking epic story fun and good multyplayer. Saints row 2 is funny good story not as good as the first but good the multyplayer is ok they should have just imported the multypayer from the first one I hope they do that in Saints row 3. Oh and GT4 is BOOOORRRING unless you play the Ballad of Gay Tony that one is good.

GTA IV as a game disappointed me a lot, since after seeing all those flashy 10 scores in IGN, Gamespot and many other websites, I found myself with a game that was all about driving from point A to B, shooting some random guys, then repeating, occasionally with that annoying idiot Roman constantly calling you. "NIIIKKOOOO! WANNA GOO BOWLING??" If a game is to be compared with Saints Row 2, compare San Andreas. It'll be a fight to the death.

They are both increasingly good fun well made games. No one needs a negative annoying critic. Both games have aspects the other one does, so get both games and play them as needed :)
