fallout 3 is breathtaking, it truly is. when you first leave the vault, you see the lonely tower in the distance, the vast wasteland in front of you, no idea where to go.

the first time i exited the Vault i was overwhelmed by the destruction and the loss of that civilization, the feeling of emptiness was too much, i had to take a break from the game. i just took a walk outside - it made me kinda depressed afterwards, but in a "good" way...

The thing I love about this game... is its diverse world and graphics. Not only that but the option to choose. And their are few games that allow that were you get to choose what you want to do.

I hate how the beginning sequence of getting out the vault is ruined by a level up. I wish they could have just let you be awed for a few minutes at how vast and open the landscape is instead of shoving a menu in your face immediately.

I still can't get over how damn desolate the world of Fallout3 is. It didn't hit me at first when leaving the vault, but it progressive got worse and worse as I saw nothing but destruction. Though Fallout3 is not a horror game, its world is one of the most frightening I've ever experienced.

Indeed it is, its scary walking around without seeying anyone for long periods of time, just watching all the destruction, the corpses, having only the wind as your companion.

@VittoIB True. when i played this game when it first came out and I was making all these bad decisions and what not it rally hurt me... I dont know why. I guess i look at this game where this is real life... and if i did that i'd suicide like doing all the killing and shet... Like the blowup of Megaton. That just tore my heart but i kept getting bad karma cause its different from other games this game touches my heart T_T
