The oncoming drivers understand and there is no problem.

This is also done in China.

On a two-lane road, when I am making a left turn, if no oncoming traffic , I'll move into the opposing lane and turn left from there.

This allows traffic behind me to continue without my slowing them down. Semi drivers have especially appreciated it.

you're wrong. not the speed kills. I drive everyday since 13 years ago and i drove all over europe without problems. speed mixed with drugs and alcohol this is what kills. Notes the quality of the road this persons are speeding and then.. from time to time someone like this.. it's getting killed. Yeah.. it was the speed (rubbish)
