  • GREAT comments from everyone! miami vice was pure sexy!

  • love it!. we are all smoking!...but now the bastards in los angeles have a fucking rule of staying away 10 feet from the door when you do. BULLSHIT!!! Hollywood was built on smoking and drinking and drugs. god damn religious conservatives. I wonder if they ever had a good time in their life without being a boring square zombie

  • @hollywoodsaint57 lol hollywood isn't about drinking and drugs...how can any place be built on drugs and smoking lol! you make no sense...The 10 ft away from the door rule is pretty lame though...do you realize how much more "hollywood" would be "hollywood" if people didnt fall into the same old trap and we had more successful people in hollywood still sharing there talent with us, I understand what your saying to a certain degree though, dont blame others though, blame junkies

  • @hollywoodsaint57 I hate it, people can be loud and obnoxiously drunk in a bar or restaurant and I can't even have a cigarette but times have changed and the population has grown in morons, especially society. People don't understand values anymore.

  • Don Johnson Back when... A man of men... Word up....

I am manifesting that shit now...

  • best time of my life! me n my mom watchin Miami Vice!!! crocket n tubbs-classic sexy!

  • I will Miami Vice with Don Johnson BACK!!!

  • and the shoes! lol..

  • The memories of growing up in this decade will forever be my favorite ones. Tears are coming to my eyes right now. Many of you understand exactly what I mean. For the ones who don't, man, I feel a little sorry for you! lol.. Good times.

  • @rrbrown813 I feel for you, long live the 80's that was my childhood and it is awesome!

  • Awesome Song!!!!

  • Don Johnson you were a man and still very beautiful and for many, many times you were part of my dream of consumption ... I truly love you. Too bad it does not belong to the same world.

  • The 80's were so totally awesome..... So wish I could go back

  • This song proves that saxophones are the sexiest of instruments.

  • The 80's was a pure era. From the music, movies, and even politics! lol

  • This was the best time to be young and part of that crowd I'll never forget it!!!

  • 4 people don't belong to the city...

  • hi. am from finland... and i belong to the city...

  • i get you ready for the next step.

  • all the shit i've seen and heard, i need a smoke.

  • i smoke, you don't know what you have seen.

  • Cigarette anyone ? Gee I wonder why the kids in this country smoke, suffer, die of cancer, make those around them suffer ? Who's idea was this to teach our kids to idolize people with cigarette addictions ? Oh well, when we find

out there is a better life for us and our children, these things will be unthinkable....and we will amazingly not be so depressed when we

do things that help others feel better and use our resources to help everyone have the living we deserve to. Same w / alcohol.

  • @chonesong

I grew up in the 80s with a father who smoked, constantly bombarded by images of "cool smokers" on TV, in magazines,etc.. I've never once smoked in my life. I hate the smell of smoke, and the dangers of smoking they taught us about in school and even in the media (yes, back in the 80s) were enough to convince me never to start. Ultimately, people will do what they want to do, so I say give kids information and lead by setting an example...most kids are a lot smarter than you think.

  • Best opening to a song ever.

  • @SpinDoctor91 amen...the opening is superb and leads to a superb song...great show

  • @ACoKyo

I totally agree, man when that saxophone comes it it sends chills down my spine, such raw emotion and feeling, i could listen to it all day. Miami Vice is an excellent classic show agreed.

  • Glen Frey singing & The Saxmaster Tom Scott wailin on his Tenor Sax. 80's at it's very, very best. Wolfsky9

  • you got miami vice on Croatian Rtl 2 about 12:00

  • the city was always full of fuckin werdios! and still is! i live there!

  • 2 dislikes?! WTF, SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I'm a guy and not gay, but "Crocett" was a nice looking man. He was a man's man.

  • I'm a guy and not gay, but Don Johnson was a nice looking man. He was a man's man.

  • @3KOBAIN him and melanie griffith were better looking before all the crack n booze

  • Love the sax, esspecially at the start of the song, very romantic.Anyway great song,it bring's back memories of the 80s.

  • The 80s just wouldn't have been the same without Vice and MTV.

  • Crockett walks alone in New York in "The Prodigal Son" episode, epic scene!

  • Good song:)

  • 2 people dont belong to the city.

  • lol, some of you are hilarious! The guy was a tool! Talk about pop tragedy! But BUt BUt, I can not say I dont love this song because it is friggin' awesome, for whatever odd reason. SO, props to Glen!

  • @triz313 Well, you have a right to your opinion, but I don't think Don Johnson is a "tool". Gley Frey isn't a pop tragedy either. Of cource, this tune makes me want to chill and chew a dip, so what do I know!

  • @triz313 No one likes backhanded compliments; you're better than that, I bet.

  • Grew up in the city, live in suburbs. Nothing like city night life. This one brings back good memories of the 80's

  • I always thought Don Johnson's portrayal of "Sonny Crockett" was really contemplative and soulful. Wow, such a great show; every episode was like watching movie!

Shout out to Pam Grier, who is always incredible!

  • Brings back memories...

  • Don Johnson 4ever

  • A love story....me and Don JOhnson (crockett) in love since 1985! Everlasting Love....LOL!

  • The best video, the best composer, the best actor, yes it's the best!

  • Thank you Adolphe Sax and Glenn Fry, as well as the makers of Miami Vice and Don Johnson. The 80s wouldn't have been the same without this combination.

  • Best of the "You belong.."-clips...let`s put on the white suit feelin`those times again..

  • I just love this video and music, i first saw this in America and I watched it over and over again until the tape wore out , it was the best. I loved Don Johnson and I love New York and always wanted to meet him and go back to New York I achieved one of those , but I still love Don Johnson.xxxx

  • Great song

  • When I was 15 years old, I wanted to be Sonny Crockett !!

  • Tom Scott was the Saxmanster back then--& still is today. All the greats went to him when they needed serious Sax, as only he could deliver. Wolfsky9

  • seemed like the 80's were the golden age for the sax. I'm trying to think of just one song since 2000 that has staying power like some of the 70's and there aren't any. I love the Kath era Chicago. My daughter has missed out on some great music. I'll okay the "old" stuff and she says. ' Hey I like that." then goes back to the 1 note word suck F@@@k bitches and ho's crap lyrics they have today

  • When I think if the coolest thing of the 80s it was Don Johnson, fast cars, pastels, and this song. Off to do a Miami Vice DVD marathon......

  • America's Golden Age was the 1980s! I'm fairly sure (as a specie), we won't reach a pinnacle of glory like that ever again.

  • @xavierspade666 also for whole world ..never again like 80s.

  • no one like Don Johnson-original-no one like Gken Frey-great combination-

  • 80's Masterpiece, & one that ought to have been even bigger than it was. Glen Frey simply outdid himself. Tom Scott wails on Tenor Sax as only he could. Wolfsky9

  • American woman is bad

  • @NCISMIAMI - as in bad to the bone?

  • @dweebcentric I SAID THAT GLEN FLEY IS A LEGEND of the 80s

  • Glen FreY is a great legend of music of 80 years.

  • Don Johnson is a real legend!

  • @DonSchumeone yes he was and this was one of the best all time seens from a TV show it gives me chills

  • @DonSchumeone Yeah i agree, i was telling my fiancee just a couple of days ago how he started a fahion trend from being on Miami Vice.

  • top video, one of my all time memories from days gone by... the polar cat! Love it!

  • so smart the smoking way, jaja

One of Glen Frey's finest solo tracks.
