  • Yeah. I'm sorry but I have to say it... I really don't care what the breeder told you. Playful, stocky built, with thick legs, and Very traditional husky markings, white tip tail. My money is on you got ripped off. That probably isn't a wolfdog, it's a husky. They get sold as wolfdogs all the time. Did you get a pedigree? Did you meet the parents? Does your dog display any traits of a wolf? Even low contents display wolf traits. If not your dog is not a wolfdog, better luck next time.

  • @ArcticWhiteWolf333 I have to agree with you.

  • Wow. Huskies and wolves really DO look alike. He's really cute.

  • @starfear494 Huskies and wolves don't look alike. This is not a wolf.

  • i'm a dog behaviorist. and i have a german shepherd wolf mix and a wolf puppy who is 12 weeks...sorry sweetness, but that's not a pure wolf. i wish people would stop saying wolf or wolf dog when it's just another spitz or very low content. all it does is make people argue and piss people off and feed bad information to ignorant people.

    she's very cute though =)

  • i don't think that he/she is a baby wolf but whatever.

  • This is definately a utonagan or Inuit dog or similar, I have one he is 6 years old is a combination of siberian husky, alaskan malamute and german sherferd is the closest dog lookalike to wolf, by the way wolfdogs are illegal in the UK. Only place you can get a wolfdog is US or Chekoslovakian Wolfdog and they look much bulkier. But the puppy is adorable and exactly like my Sequoia at the same age, amazing similarity. Love him, her.

  • He will one day make another female husky very unhappy.

  • Like the puppy, hate the description:(

It's just a puppy! of corse it's just learning coordination!

  • hehehe XD

  • a puppy that is clumsy? double cute!

  • @cajunhoplite DAMN STRAIGHT WE ARE!!!

  • That thing he's playing with looks like a turd LOLOL

  • @ConstintinosRecon wow, he's obviously a puppy which means he's a baby and I'm pretty sure when you were a baby you were uncoordinated and you shit in your pants all the time. So you may as well call yourself stupid to, plus you compaired a dog to an insect and I'm pretty sure dogs have saved multiple peoples lives

  • my dog's like that and she's a five year old collie xD

  • dude he looks like hes super baked hahaha

  • that is not nice! dont cal that cute puppy stupid!!!

  • @MyWolvesrule Oh but you can call insects stupid? You can call reptiles and amphibians stupid? I think puppies are pretty stupid when they have no coordination and shit on your carpet.

  • I personally think its high.

  • Awww, no, it's not stupid. :-( That's a very adorable pup (or are baby wolves called cubs? - uh oh, I need to consult my Nat Geo again).

  • @AutumnWitch3,

NO! baby wolves are called pups, NOT cubs. I have no idea where people got this from. PUPS!!!!

  • @wolfdogfostermom

calm down bitch, no one called it a cub.... Jeez this lady is everywhere thinking she is some authority on wolves. You are NO authority or expert, you have proven your ignorance. Leave people and their pets alone. Focus on your own DOGS.

  • @takodathewolf,

Lol, you really are something! ^_^ I was talking to Autum who asked is baby wolves were called cubs. So it was a legitimate answer. :) My dogs? Really now- when I think even my low content boy is more wolfy then your "98%" :) HAHA. The little blackphase female i rescued, the breeder who sold her to a young girl also claimed she was a pure- and the girl believe her. She is a mid content. Do you see why misrepresentation is a problem?

  • @wolfdogfostermom you can go by observable characteristics all you want lady. Looks mean nothing when it comes down to the actual GENOTYPE. I get it... You claim to be exceptional at identifying phenotypes... GREAT!! But those are only the projected observable properties. I don't see how your eyes are more efficient than a laboratory genome analysis...... you need to read a biology book

  • @takodathewolf,

I know what genotyping is- however % in wolfdogs is very inaccurate, that is why anyone who knows anything about wolves/wolfdogs does not go by their %- they are phenotyped compared to a pure wolf (everything, not just looks) and based off of content. However what people forget is that the wolfy behaviors generally stick around a lot longer then the wolfy looks. Meaning you can still have a low content wolfdog that acts fairly wolfy.

  • @takodathewolf,

But you seem to be missing the point of CONTENT vs %. In order for an animal to be considered a true high content (% completely aside) a certain number of pure wolf characteristics must be present. That includes, but is not limited to: physical appearance, behavior and sexual maturity/breeding cycles. So pretty much what I am saying is since most breeders lie about their animals heritage and trying base the wolf inherited off of that is non-existant- if your animal ever

  • @takodathewolf,

ended up in a rescue situation- I can almost gaurantee you he would be phenotyped and labeled as a low content wolfdog- meaning he is displaying mostly dog characteristics- not wolf, despite him being represented as a 98% wolfdog (which is basically a pure wolf).

  • @wolfdogfostermom Actually that's a misconception.

Wild baby wolves are usually called cups,or whelps.

Hybrids you can call cups,or pups.

I own a Timber Wolf pup at the moment. My wife prefers to call it a pup,I prefer to call it a cup.All in all it's the same thing. There shouldn't be a reason to argue about such thing.

  • @ImmaShaman,

Pup is the most commonly (and preferred) among **most** wolf/wolfdog people. Whelp can be used, but usually isn't. Cub is becoming out of date, and **usually** is used among owners/breeders that misrepresent and wouldn't know a wolf from a poodle.

  • @ImmaShaman,Puppies are always cute, how old is your beast?!

  • @wolfdogfostermom 3 months and a week.I can't believe how smart she is lol.

  • @ImmaShaman sorry sweetness. but i suppose you call bear cubs "puppies" and bird chicks "kids" and baby goats "calves". sorry for my sarcasm but i just want you to know that that is a very ignorant statement and it's comments like that which feeds bad information to people coming online to research or what not. just call the cute things pups or puppies, no need to call it by another animal's name

  • @nubianprince100 The only thing Ignorant is you not doing any research before commenting.

Young Wolves can be called pups, cups and whelps, depending where you're from.

  • @ImmaShaman No see the young of every animal has a specific name to ensure there is not confusion and truthfully. Any young from the canine family is called, "a puppy, or puppies" That is the correct term to use. If you use cub people will think lion, bear, etc. If you use whelp, then you are not talking about a specific animal you are using a descriptive word on a mother. An animal, usually a dog, whelps a litter. But you don't call the young whelps. You say a "whelp of puppies".

  • Wanna see a puppy really acting like a cat?

    Look at this: youtube.com/watch?v=ZeF6ei3Drsk

  • perfect for dinner.......

  • He's not a stupid puppy... I have a wolf hybrid and he plays like that at nearly a year old. It's flipping hilarious!

  • hey that name of my moped that so cool rukes rocks

  • i love wolves, i have a puppy that has 0 coordination.. lol

  • its so....cute :)

  • wolf*

  • The puppies name is probably wo

  • The video and the title do not match.

  • you arguing makes baby ruckus cry :(

  • Wait. Okay I think this guy's trollin'. He has to be. Nobody's this stupid.

  • Guys, that's not even a wolf. It doesn't even look like a hybrid.

  • Yeeeah, I own a husky. Wait a year and he'll be doing that WITHOUT a bone.

  • so true cajunhoplite and wolfdogfostermom

  • damn it aint looking for a hybrid.. I WANT A FULL BLOODED WOLF PUPPY. WHERE CAN I BUY ONE? AND HOW MUCH?

  • Beware of bad breeders that claim to have 98%ers or pure wolves- there are very few legit high content/pure wolf breeders. You are looking at upwards of 1,000$. Do you have a license? What about wolf-proof proper containment? You do realize that owning a wolf or high content wolfdog is VERY different then owning a dog? Are you prepared to bottle feed and spend 24/7 contact with that pup from about 3 weeks of age? That is only the beginning of intense, life-long socialization.

  • @wolfdogfostermom Um, you are just like every other ignorant person who doesn't understand the canine intellect. Why would you put a label on wolves just because they a found wild more often than domesticated? Wolves are extremely similar to dogs... the difference? They are WAY easier to train, socialize and bring into the human world. Dogs tend to show defiance and spite, wolves wont do this. The etiquette in the wolf lifestyle is still bred within them, making them perfect companions.

  • @DominoShadow, Yeah, right. Considering how many REAL pure wolves and wolfdogs I have worked with and taken care of (including me own) for over 10 years now, and all sorts of dog breeds being in the vet/boarding field...I am highly aware of both and the combination of wolf and dog behavior......

  • @DominoShadow, Wolves are NOT way easier to train, socialize or adapt to human living- in fact quite the opposite. They have been compared to training a cat- it takes a lot of time, effort, positive reinforcement and the wolves come at it with a "I will do it when and IF I feel like doing it...and how does this benefit ME." They were NOT bred to please or obey people, they do things on their own terms. Socializing is a whole different story, having to pull pups from their mom at around 10

  • @DominoShadow days with 24/7 human socialization for the first several weeks of their life. They are often limited to interactions with other wolves or dogs so that they do not become attached to th dog and end up timid around people until they are about 5-6 months old. The socialization process is an intense, lifelong deal, and even then there is no guarantee they will grow up to be friendly with everyone, do well in the car or not completely destroy your house.

  • I don't recall ever having to pull and bottle feed dog pups at that age for socialization purposes. ***Most dogs do very well in the car. Most are easily house broken, reliable off-leash, don't require 10ft fencing, dig guards and climb proofing (or hotwire). Most dogs are bred for a purpose, and are *trained* to obey people without question (hunting/retrieving, herding, sled pulling, coursing, SAR, guide dogs and such). Most, even when not trained or raised correctly (depending on breed)

  • @wolfdogfostermom I agree. Owning a wolfdog is like owning a horse. It's a companion. You have to earn its trust and commitment like you do with a horse. Difference: A dog has a trait of "unconditional love" this means you hurt it and it will still come to you until it gets fed up with the way you treat it and even then it will probably do nothing. A wolfdog is like a horse, mistreat it once and you may have a problem. It won't want to be your friend and will probably never trust you again.

  • @DominoShadow, Still end up to be fairly managable, friendly dogs. You raise a wolf the same way you raise a dog- and you are in for one rude awakening. Dogs were domesticated and bred for a purpose. Wolves...you earn their respect and understand that if one day your wolf decides he doesn't like you anymore because he is a mature animal, that's just how it's going to be. ^_^

  • @wolfdogfostermom I never said you raise them the same way. What I said was; you shouldn't be judging an animal based off the fact that it's considered wild. All animals are the same whether they are domesticated or not. Not a bad or good thing, just a neutral point. Wolves and dogs are extremely similar, hence why their ancestors were chosen for domestication. The close proximity in which they lived to humans gave us the perfect opportunity to test trust.

  • @DominoShadow If you really had experience with true wolfdogs then you would know they are not similar to "dogs". Similiar, in that they are from the canine family but their temperment, personality, and behavior is unique. Just like there are many breeds of dogs and each one has it's own behavior and standard. A wolfdog has a standard. This allows people to point out fake wolfdogs. A dog trusts and relies on people. A wolfdog is a whole different ball game, that people be prepared for.

  • @DominoShadow they were chosen for domestication because it was conveinent. Lets look at the coices here: Bear? Moose? Fox? Raccoon? Fish? Elk? ooor a medium height animal that is built for edurance, forms social bonds, is visually playful, and has supierior predator intellegence yet dosnt outright prey on humans? I think you may be caught up in the romance of the idea of such a great predator comming to your heels and seeing you as a respected equal but that is just not so.

  • @wolfdogfostermom With wolves "the bond" between him and his human is everything. It takes YEARS to develop and you must be there every step of the way. However, wolves are much easier to train because they do not lack focus. Focus is what many domesticated dogs lack today. Once the bond is made, that wolf or wolf-dog will never leave your side... so long as you don't break his trust. However, if the two have grown a bond there is no reason to lose trust other than at fault of the human.

  • Wolves/dogs will never do anything just because it pleases you. They can be trained with food because they learn: do this action and food is supplied. Being very primal they relate Food = Survival. The notion that a bonded wolf/dog will never leave your side is a romantic one wolves are roamers by nature. It doesnt take YEARS to form trust bonds w/ wolves/dogs. If a pup is taken 10 days after birth and handraised the trust is instant. If its a feral adult, obviously it needs time, butnot YEARS.

  • @wolfdogfostermom The mistake may or may not be accidental. My point is, the wolf is unwavering in his trust until we do something to break it. The only thing we need to do to not break that trust is simply: pay attention, focus. Wolves and wolf-dogs are different from domesticated dogs in the sense that they have an easier grasp at family, pack and play etiquette. That's all I was saying.

  • Everyone makes wolves and wolf dogs out to be crazed wild animals. When they're really not. They just have a strong need for complete loyalty, because that is what they offer.

  • @DominoShadow, I agree with some of what you said, and maybe it's the way you are wording it?

  • @wolfdogfostermom Yeah, I agree. And apologize :P.

  • @DominoShadow Some of the problem is when people that don't own wolfdogs claim their animal has wolf, which is wrong. Then when something happens involving the dog, then the public gets told it was a "wolfdog" that did it. When in reality it was really a dog cross with no wolf, like a husky. That is why if anyone plans to get a wolfdog that they meet the parents, get a pedigree with lineage that shows where the wolf is and you need to educate yourself on wolves, wolfdogs so you can avoid fakes.

  • @DominoShadow If you ever get a "true" wolfdog you are in for a RUDE awakening because it will not be like owning a dog. Why do you think so many wolfdogs end up in shelters it's not because they are bad but because ignorant people take them in thinking they will be like owning a dog and guess what? They find out that this wolfdog is nothing like owning a dog so they get rid of it. Many wolfdogs end up in shelters because of ignorant peole like you. You need to learn the real facts on wolfdogs.

  • Wow youre ignorant. Youve obviously never tryed to train an actual wolf or high-midcontent wolfdog. They have extremeexercise requirements so leave them unattened and they will become destructivelike chew the dry wall destructive.Body language of wolf/dogs is very different from a dog. Wolves can be considered the most defiant canid because they have to see the purpose for completing an action: Why sit when id rather stand? Why stay by your side when id rather run outdoors and explore scents?

  • @24Stellaluna They are the easiest of all canines to train are rarely defiant. Easy, because they need to see the reason why. If you simply show them the reason, they do it immediately and trust you more for it. Once you have formed the bond, there is little anyone can do to get them to not listen to you. You would know this if you have spent as much time studying in the field.

"Wild" is a mindset which can be changed with the simplicity of trust. Never doubt the power of trust my friend.

  • @wolfdogfostermom no licence needed in Ohio that i'm aware of

  • @ServantoftheTRUEGOD Maybe you should work on your self-esteem issues first.

  • @tigercubkitten what does self steem got to do with wanting a FULL BLOODED WOLF PUPPY. UHH? SERIOUSLY. I DONT KNOW ABOUT YOU BUT I WANT THE BEST. A WOLF IS BETTER THAN A HYBRID. AND I CAN AFFORD IT. MAYBE YOU SHOULD WORK ON YOUR SELF STEEM ISSUES.!! SINCE ALL WOMEN HAVE.. TOO FAT TOO SKINNY.. AND ALL THAT. BIG BOOBS ..SMALL BOOBS..NO ASS ..TOO MUCH ASS...NO HIPS..WOMEN ARE MORE LIKELY TO HAVE MORE SELF STEEM ISSUES THAN MEN. OR SO I SEEN.

  • @ServantoftheTRUEGOD Never purchase a wolf. You are not ready and far FAR too young.

  • @tigercubkitten you know you sound REALLY DUMB. what does wanting the best of life got to do with self stem?. What does wanting a Wolf or a Lamborghini or a Mansion or wanting to be the best Lawyer or just THE BEST YOU CAN GET AND BE. THE BEST OF THE WORLD. WE ALL WANT THAT.

  • @ServantoftheTRUEGOD First of all, bragging about how you "want the best" -- mansions, sport cars, wolf pups -- and "can afford it" sounds like a desperate attempt at bragging. Are you 10, or are you just so retarded you think those things are cool? You probably think listening to Night Ranger in your Lamborghini (or Camaro) is cool. You can afford a wolf puppy? Big deal. If you actually think a wolf puppy is going to make a good pet, you're an idiot.

  • @tigercubkitten@ I WAS MAKING A POINT. THE POINT IS WE ALL WANT THE BEST IN THIS LIFE. IF U CAN GET THE BEST AND CAN AFFORD IT..GET IT. DONT ACT LIKE YOU DONT WANT THE BEST. I AM NOT BRAGGING. CAUSE I DONT HAVE ALL OF THOSE THINGS. IM SURE A MANSION AND A LAMBORGHINI ARE COOL THINGS TO HAVE. MAYBE YOU JUST DONT GOT TASTE . YOU ARE SO FAKE. ACTING LIKE YOU DONT WANT TO BE OR HAVE THE BEST. IS HUMAN NATURE TO WANT THE BEST. IF I COULD SING. I WILL TRY TO BE THE BEST SINGER IN THE WORLD!!

  • @ServantoftheTRUEGOD Just because we all want the best, doesn't mean we should have it. In your case; any respectable wolf-dog or wolf breeder will turn you down. Whether you have the money and the mansion or not, you are still too irresponsible to have a wolf. The reason for wanting a wolf shouldn't be simply because they are "the best." You should want one because of pure self-interest and understanding the huge commitment involved with such a loyalty-driven animal.

  • @tigercubkitten YOU ARE SO FAKE. WHAT ARE YOU A STUDENT? WOULDN'T YOU WANT TO BE THE BEST STUDENT IN YOUR CLASS? DONT BRAGG ABOUT IT. JUST BE THE BEST AND GET THE BEST. IM SURE YOU BE HAPPY TO KNOW YOU ARE THE BEST. GO READ. EVEN GOD SAYS SO IN HIS BOOKS IN MANY PARABLES. WE HUMANS WANT TO GET AND BE THE BEST. THAT'S MY POINT. STOP BEEN A FAKE. WHY YOU THINK THEY GOT GUINNESS RECORDS? DUMB ASSS!!

  • @ServantoftheTRUEGOD And what objective measurement exists to determine what is the best? Why is a wolf "the best?"BECAUSE THER BIG AND COOOOL LOOKIN, right? Fact is, wolf makes bad pets. BUT THEYRE STILL BIG AND COOL AND THE BEST, right? Until you can tell me why you think a wolf is "the best," there's not a chance in hell I'm going to think you're anything more than a slow third grader.

  • @tigercubkitten well. 1- i have all the time in the world for it cause i aint got family of my own. 2- i have the space for it. 3- money is not a problem. 4- the weather and conditions are ideal. . 5- wolves are cool. 6- it suits my lifestyle. 7- i want one cause i can. 8- I can make a wolf the ideal pet, if not ill get rid of it, put it back on the wild or give it to someone who can have it. I SERIOUSLY DOUBT THERE IS ANYONE MORE FIT TO HAVE IT THAN I. COUNTRYSIDE. BIG FARM. IN CANADA.

  • @ServantoftheTRUEGOD,

If not you'll get rid of it? Wild? Give it to someone who can? Apparently you don't know wolves. You will be condemming this animal to most likely, death. A wolf bred and raised in captivity CANNOT be released into the wild. Having the space, money and even the time does not qualify you to raise a wolf. Ideal, yes. Experienced and/or capable...not looking so good for you.

  • @tigercubkitten THERE HOPE THAT SHUTS YOUR MOUTH. DONT RIGHT MORE SHIT. I KNOW WHAT I WANT. I RESEARCH AND STUDY THINGS BEFORE I GET IT OR GO INTO IT. I CONSIDER THE NEGATIVES AND POSITIVES. CAUSES EFFECTS AND POSSIBLE OUTCOMES. UNEXPECTED THINGS. JUST BE QUITE. GO ON WITH YOUR LIFE. I WANT A PURE WOLF AND I WILL GET IT EVENTUALLY. I WAS ONLY ASKING WERE TO BUY ONE OR GET ONE. THEN YOU CAME AND SPOKE ABOUT SELF STEEM. YOU FIX YOUR SELF STEEM. THEN WORRY ABOUT OTHERS. PLEASE JUST SHUT UP.

  • @ServantoftheTRUEGOD The only reason you gave was "wolves are cool and I can." To top things off, you talk about letting it go into the world ... shows you don't know a damn thing you're talking about. If you have some tremendous personality flaw that you want to compensate for with "wolves, mansions, and Lamborghini, go for it." You sound like a dimwitted Dwight Shrute. don't expect to impress anyone. The rest of us will go on with our lives without worrying about possessions.

  • @tigercubkitten i gave a million reasons good enough for me. seriously. i don't got to explain myself. WHAT I WANT I GET. THAT SIMPLE. IM NOT TRYING TO IMPRESS NO ONE. IS NOT ABOUT COMPENSATION IS ABOUT GETTING WHAT I WANT AND WHAT IS BEST FOR ME. MY HAPPINESS I FIND IT IN PRAYERS, BEEN ALONE AND DOING WHAT I LIKE. MY RICHES ARE MY ENTERTAINMENT. "THE REST OF US" BITCH LOOK AROUND YOU. PEOPLE ARE KILLING PEOPLE FOR MANSIONS AND LAMBORGHINIS AND FINE BITCHES AND MONEY. WERE THE FUCK YOU LIVIN?

  • Instead of what YOU want and what is best for YOU...have you even considered the life of this animal and what is best for him/her. Raising a wolf is NOT at all like raising a dog. Could you handle an animal that could possibly display serious seasonal aggression that you may not be able to touch for up to 4 months! A wolf will always be a wolf, regardless.

  • @ServantoftheTRUEGOD. Capslock makes you cool...

  • @SoPlEoReD

    I lol'd at that.

  • @tigercubkitten lets stop this right here. your flaw is judging and trying to figure out people on the internet. people whom you have not met. you dont know shit about me. stop trying to figure out things. I got flaws. You got issues like me and all humans. Im sure you got things you compensate for. GO TELL CELEBRITIES THAT THEY ARE COMPENSATING FOR THEIR FLAWS WHEN THEY BUY MILLION DOLLAR HOUSES, CARS AND CLOTHES AND EXOTIC PET LIKE TIGERS AND LIONS AND WOLVES. FUCK OFF!!

  • @ServantoftheTRUEGOD Ok. "Angelina Jolie, you're compensating for your personality flaws by buying exotic pets like wolves, tigers, and lions. Oh, you say you have none of them? Oh." Guess what? Nobody in fucking hollywood has a fucking wolf or a tiger. Nobody thinks they're cool. Also, I've never known anyone who's killed a person for a mansion -- not sure how that works. Go back to listening to your rap music and Ayn Rand novels.

  • @tigercubkitten AKON HAS A TIGER. I CAN NAME MORE CELEBRITIES WITH EXOTIC PETS. ACCORDING TO YOU ALL CELEBRITIES ARE COMPENSATING. WELL DONT CARE. I DONT LISTEN TO RAP. AND ALL CELEBRITIES THINK THEY COOL. AND THEY COOL EXCEPT A FEW. YOUR A DUMB ASS. AFRICA, THE GHETTOS, SOUTH AMERICA. THE ENTIRE WORLD WISHES TO BE RICH LIKE CELEBS. WHY YOU THINK PEOPLE DEAL DRUGS, ORGANIZED CRIME AND ALL THAT. MAFIA. PEOPLE DIE FOR RICHES. YOU ARE DUMB AND IGNORANT. GET REAL. NOW SHUT THE FUCK UP

  • @ServantoftheTRUEGOD Self-esteem has everything to do with wanting the best. If you have no self-esteem you will never have the drive to put yourself out there, to get everything you ever dreamed of. As for raising a wolf.. if you have no self-esteem, no confidence... you will be destroyed. Wolves do not follow unstable leaders... ever. Remember that.

  • This reminds me of my hybrid wolf when he was a pup (he passed away recently due to old age). He always played with rocks like they were a tennis ball :-)

  • wow that are some paws.

  • no animal is a pet, in my opinion.

@Waruhno and wolfdogfostermum. im not critisizing you two, i uphold the beliefs that you are arguing. humanity sucks. you have my respect.

im just stating MY opinion, and that is that no animal is a pet, more of a companion. i have two rabbits, a dog and a bird. i dont call any of them pets, they are my friends. i love them more than any human i know.

  • @billabong9494,

I agree. They are my kids. My spoiled rotten babies and I wouldn't have it any other way :)

  • @billabong9494 i agree with you, i dont consider them pets, but i consider them as one of the family :) durring the holidays we even get them presents :D

  • @billabong9494

You're absolutely right, I don't call them "pets" either --- at least not in front of them...

  • its a husky cuz the white tip on its tale

  • it's not even a wolf it's an alaskan malamute puppy i know it is becouse i have one

  • clumsy puppy dog!!

  • calm down buddy

  • Comment removed

  • dufus it could be a hibrid she could be a breeder and it looks nothing like a husky

  • lol it's 'Siberian'...for the record.

  • It's wild life committee, retard.

  • ofcourse you can have a wolf as a pet without a license or being a part of a wild life comitty.. not legally tho, and yeah it looks more like a blend between a wolf and a gsd.

  • Ummmm you didnt have to be so mean about it... >:| wtf man.

  • I really want a wolf in a few years. could you tell me how you got yours, aybeeceeboi?

  • wolves are not pets? you're right but all of the wolf pets I've seen are happy with living in homes, so that means that you dont care if wolves are happy or unhappy, that means you dont care about wolves, that means that I hate people like you!

  • (The original gsd was half wolf by the way - idiot!) I care about and see the bigger picture thick shit!! If you dont put wolves back into their habitat they came from then humans will see no use for the habitat and MOVE INTO IT!!!! like the locusts they are! Conservation conservation conservation. Your just another one of those people I hate that has to touch everything like that twat that keeps lions as pets!!!

  • Dude why did you have to insult me? Get off youtube you troll.. And dude I just stated my opinion, if you think I'm sutch an idiot why do you care what I think? And the pets I have are 2 cats and a lizzard, (and a gsd in a few weeks YAY!) I have no wolf, I have no lion, and I dont intend on getting one. I'm just one of those people who need to state their opinion about everything, I dont like it but I just have to live with it, its one of the things that makes me, me =)

  • Wolves should NEVER be regarded as "pets." They can be companions to the right people, but they are by no means pets. And everyone and their mom claims to have a wolf, especially here on YT, when the majority of the time, the animal is probably no more wolf than the poodle down the street. However, I do agree that some of them seem to enjoy the spoiled captive life. My 2 boys, seeing as though they don't know what the wild is anyway, probably wouldn't survive either without their free food.

  • I didnt say they should be pets, You should read my comment a bit more, I said "wolves are not pets? you're right".. etc, what I'm talking about is the wellbeing of the wolf. like you said about your wolves, alot of wolves are raised in captivity and would most likely die if you just let them out into the wild, but I did not say that they were pets.

  • I think I did read your comment wrong. My apologies :)

Glad to see you agree with the not being pets though!

  • i Kinda enjoy wolves..

  • Its legal in the states.

  • dont call it stupid though. thats mean. :(

  • My wolfdog is like 15 years old now and is awesome, quit bashing on wolfdogs bash on the people who did not educate themselves before buying them if you portray alpha you will be alpha forever, might help that im 6'5 250 pnds lol

  • how is your wolfdogs health at being 15 years old ? i'm interested in a wolfdog in id heard by the time they are 10 or 12 lots of health problems began

  • @socsol My hybrid passed away at 12, he had developed thyroid problems at around 11 years and was on medication.

Do your research and if you do decide on buying one, make sure it's from a good breeder. He will be the perfect family member; Mine during the summer and it is still painful with out him. He was the best companion we could have asked for.

    Good luck :-)

  • Wolves and dogs are the same species, yes. So technically they are the same. Difference- one is wild and the other has been domesticated for thousands of years. Even wolves that have been captive bred for several generations are still very much wolves in every way.

  • The main difference between wolfs and dogs is that when wolves are forced to, they will fly :O

  • Lol other way round deary.

All dogs came from wolves. Dogs are the domesticated ones. :P

    Both both animals ROCK!!!!

  • Wolves ARE the ancestors! Are you really THAT silly? If you really don't belive me go look.

    Who told you this????????

    o_e

  • look wolves and dogs have the same genes, dogs are just domestic

  • Comment removed

  • Maybe my book was wrong

    rackle fracklevhru56789iwvniwvn

    I don't care anymorezzz.

    :-3

  • WHO LET THE DOGS OUT?!

  • r u sure thats really a wolf ??looks more like a shiba inu ...is it even LEGAL ?!

  • Looks like a wolf hybrid to me. Because a wolf pup's tail would be smaller and its fur would be poofier. Also, if it was a Shiba, wouldn't it have a curlier tail? I think it's mixed with a german shepherd or a siberian husky. And it is legal in some states to have wolf hybrids and even full blooded wolves. But I think you have to have a permit.

  • Is it actually possible to buy a wolf as a pet???

  • Don't think so, even if you could they don't make good pets. Wolves are pack animals, and the males usually like to be the dominant male, or the alpha male, so basically it might try to attack you.

  • My wolf has been in my family for eight years. It took more to train her than our other dogs, but in the end she's just another dog...and great at cuddling.

  • That's not fair, I want a wolf :(

  • wolves rn't "just another dog". They're not dogs. Just felt the need 2 point that out.

  • Ha. You sound like every other "wolf" owner- and i seriously doubt you have an animal with any significant amount of wolf heritage. Nothing is impossible, but anyone who really owns wolves or high contents will not just go spewing about that a wolf is "just another dog." They are not bad animals, however, between the "wolf" videos here on youtube and comments like that (and people not knowing the difference) is what makes it so dangerous.

  • Over half the people that watch this video really think this animal is a wolf, or at least is mostly wolf- when in fact I would be surprised if it had any wolf in it at all.

The vast majortity of wolves and wolfdogs out there are low-no content mutts. Very few people, especially here on Youtube have legitimate wolves/high contents or wolfdogs with recent wolf heritage. What does that say to you?

  • Oh really? How would you know for sure just from a video or picture anyway? This looks like a wolf hybrid to me. No pure dog I've ever seen has had orange ears like that except a wolf.

  • You must have never worked in a dog boarding keenel before then? I have seen MANY dogs with very similar coat colorations, including pure bred siberians, malamutes and german shepherds (though sable is not as common a color as black and tan). This pup here, yes, just seeing it in a video, has very little to no wolf.- even seeing it at such a young age. White tipped tail, very contrasting coat. I would be surprised if it turned out looking even remotely wolfy as an adult.

  • Well once my friend got a dog that was part wolf but they had to give her back 'cause of wolf instinct to hunt...so yah its possible.

  • kattoast wolves are like Huskies....10 fold....Huskies love to hunt game and small animals, are independent, escape artists, pack oritented, ect. Wolves are like that but on a higher scale. It's possible for someone to have a wolf as a pet if you have studied them for years, worked with them, and know how to handle them. The truth is though, 99% of the people who want a wolf, don't know enough or have enough experience to actually own one. Pure wolves should not be kept as pets.

  • Yah. My friend didn't know her dog was part wolf. but they got a new dog. pure bred luckily! no more wolf...

  • My aunt and uncle have a very large dog that has some wolf ancestry, but he is mostly german shepard and newfoundlander (which are HUGE dogs). He does hunt things, like birds and squirrels, but does not kill them, he just likes to play. But he does eat wasps notoriously, maybe that's his form of hunting? Anyways, he's so sweet and they've never had any trouble with him, even though they have a small child whom the dog loves inconditionally.

  • Thats a cute story! :3

  • hmmm looks like a sib husky

  • the few wolfs that are left alone after hunting here in norway is pure wolf blood from thousends of years back and theres two kinds, the regular deep deep forrest wolfs that has more brown like eyes and the artic one that is on the tundras way up in the north that has the most amazing blue eyes...so thats that..i think im right...somebody is gona disagree anyway...its youtube riight, the home of couch sitting noobs x) not everybody ofcourse...

  • Aaw that is so cute. Why do you have a wolf in your house? Isn't it illegal to keep one.

  • 1) not a wolf.

    2) you must have a permit to keep a real pure wolf- sometimes class II sometimes class III wildlife permit- depending on state. Wolfdog-hybrids may or may not be regluated- depends on state and county regulations.

  • it dont seem 2 clumsy if u ask me

  • The title is WRONG by some Misunderstanding

    the mamal doings...

    Good Coordinations....watch again!!

  • soo freaking cute!!

  • why are people making such a fuss over whether its a wolf or not =_= Is it so hard for people to play on names with their dog? I used to call my cat a TIGER for the plain fun of it. Why should it be different for dogs?

  • It really is a wolf though. His name is Ruckus. Who cares?

  • This little baby, while very cute, probably has little to no wolf in him. Represent them as such and there wouldn't be this problem.

  • Sorry but you are, once again, incorrect. Study study study study!!!

I have studied wolves all my life. Hun, you need an update.

  • Because the difference between a tiger and a house cat is quite obvious- unfortunately there are people out there that really think this animal is a wolf. There are far too many people that don't know what a wolf looks like and so many more that get these animals, thinking they are wolves- when they probably have no recent wolf heritage in them whatsoever. When they do get a real wolfdog- the animal is usually the one that suffers in the end. Unfortunately, people are that ignorant.

  • Yeah. I am highly against the trade of wolfdogs , by the way.

  • cuteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • Looks like a mix between a German Shepard, and a husky.... Its cute though!!!!!!!

  • not a wolf but cool dog anyway :) If it has white tip on his tail it has no wolf in it. I love huskys though ive had both over the years

  • This definately a utonagan, I have one he is 4 years old is a combination of siberian husky, alaskan malamute and german sherferd is the closest dog lookalike to wolf, by the way wolfdogs are illegal in the UK. Only place you can get a wolfdog is US or Chekoslovakian Wolfdog and they look much bulkier. But the puppy is adorable and like my Sequoia at the same age, amazing similarity. Love him, her.

  • That is a special dog called a wolfdog. Humans have the capability to create one. So anyone who says it isn't part wolf would be wrong. I am just trying to prove a point.

  • how do u know?
