Old "Sesame Street" viewers will recognize Richard Hunt's original Miss Piggy voice as more or less identical to that of Gladys the Cow.

They didn't exactly decide to change her voice. They never expected her to become so popular, so she didn't have a permanent puppeteer yet. She was shared by Richard Hunt and Frank Oz. Hunt's the one who's playing her in this clip.

When Piggy became one of the main characters Oz became her permanent puppeteer. If it would've been Hunt, we'd probably frown upon old Piggy clips with Oz voicing her...
