    Just a quick question - what was the reasoning behind canada's decision to follow the US practice of locomotives / railway design etc?

    I'm from Australia and while all our states had very different railways, we all closely followed British practice (at least until the 1960s), as did New Zealand, South Africa, India (until independence) and many other once-dominions of the British empire.

    I assumed that being a part of the British empire, Canada would've followed suit?

  • Neptune Terminals in North Vancouver if I am not mistaken... was trucked up back in October. They had it fired up while we were there too
