  • Thank you for posting this video. For years I'd been frustrated with the rhododendrum bush at my apartment complex because the spent flowers look so ugly. I asked for and received permission from the landlord to finally do something about the rhodie, and thanks to your video I was able to take care of it. I can already see a difference in the appearance of the bush within several hours.

  • Well, generally you are correct, though you do want to break of some of those single new growths that did not have flowers so the plant branches more.  I assume the plant you were deadheading is 'Anna Rose Whitney'. How do I know that, well???
