  • My favorite lego vid

  • what program did you win?

  • @LOTRTotalwarMan It was called dragon stop motion but the company have since changed the name to dragon frame.

  • @legoheadbond awsome!

  • Nice animation! =D So you use 20fps, but how do you make it so epic? Do you take very many pics for a small movement or do you use any after effects? Awesome brick film =) I subbed

  • @theLEGOtastic Thanks, 20fps is a good frame rate when you practise with it, and get to use it more. Before this I used 15fps, and I'm hoping to move up to 25fps for my future work!

  • i subbed. just because.... um.... realy i dont know.... oh wait, i remember now!

    YOU ARE AWSOE

  • That was in one of the newer pirate sets, either the raft with the octopus or the little set with a pirate cooking a fish over a fire.

  • where did you get the shirt of that pirate at 03:03?

  • I wish their were more lego vids like this. I hate the forrest fire typer dudes who swear in a lego video that's just dumb

  • I think that's awesome! Did you shine a flashlight behind the cotton for the explosions. I want to make an explosion for a film I'm making and I want to make it look nice but not fake; cotton or something looks good for a brickfilm.

  • amazingly smooth stopmotion and great story!

  • PERFECT! How long have you worked on it?

  • @rouvinho20 Thanks! In all I think the film took a few weeks to make, which isn't long for a film of this length. But I worked like mad on it so I could get it in for the competition!

  • @cannedgravy I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS CANNEDGRAVY

  • this should win the contest

  • Wow! that was amazing how long did it take to make?

  • @hanzfilms It took a few weeks to make from beginning to end, which isn't much for a film of this length. I did have to work after school many of those days though. Thanks!

  • 13:57 Bring me that horizon........drink up me hearties yo-ho!

  • i tryed to find it but please tell me how is the soundtrack called its sounds like its from runescape the second soundtrack at the begining please

  • @rimvis672 It's called 'Movement Proposition'. Go on the incompetech website, and somewhere you should see a link to 'royalty free music'. Then search for it.

  • @legoheadbond ok il try

  • @legoheadbond no not that its starts when he walks in the captains cabin and takes the key please if you can tell me

  • @rimvis672 That one's called sneaky adventure.

  • @legoheadbond Thank you very much i didnt scroll to the bottom and didnt see it dum me but when you replied me i tryed to go to the bottom and found it THANK YOU

  • brilliant!

  • Where did you get that music in the begining

  • @rimvis672 incompetech is the website.

  • @legoheadbond but how its called

  • @rimvis672 If you mean the name of the music, I listed all the names of the pieces in the credits.

  • brilliant animating and though the pace was a bit slow in places it was great overall

  • So, how did Ogel become a Pirate again? did he jump into a portal and the Alpha Team said:"Fuck it, let him go back to the past, he can't threaten anyone much back then"

  • This is very impressive

  • Beautyfull!

  • 9:58 INDIANA PIRATE! lol. AWSOME VID! can't wait for more! :)

  • That was great! Well done!

  • great job super creative.

  • Nice movie :D !

  • I think you will win.

  • awesome, very well done :)

  • That was really well made.

The story was interesting enough to hold one's attention, the animation was well done, the special effects like the cotton ball explosions were good and the sound editing was realistic and well-detailed.

The only real gripe I have is that the miniature models didn't work out that well.

However, this is still a good Brickfilm and I give it a 9/10

I also loved the Indiana Jones reference at 9:49 - 10:06

    ~Christian Allbee, co-manager of "allbeehive"

  • @ohvist That would be a dream job for me! Haha!

Anyway, I'm glad you liked it. Thanks! ;)

  • wow, something is wrong here for 306 views, this should have thousands.

  • You deserve more views

  • Ha! You even used that really old screaming sound effect that has been used in things like Star Wars! (When the person gets knocked off at 2:18)

  • @bjcsupertortoise Dude that sound was used waaayy before Star Wars :)

  • @TrainingArena555 I know, but the only film that I definitely know had the sound is Star Wars, so I said "like Star Wars".

  • @bjcsupertortoise

    It's never gets old!

I loved this! the story and all that! And I loved the epic fight scene at the end. Although, it would been better with bit a "shaky cam". But nice job!

    9/10! :D

  • @bjcsupertortoise Wilhelm scream btw, if you want to look it up.

  • @startug Thanks :]

  • @bjcsupertortoise It's called the Wilhelm Scream

  • @squad85studios Yeah, a few people have mentioned that, but I thought, although it isn't realistic, them firing continuously would have been more suitable so they don't have to reload every time.

  • Swords and Sandals sound effects! I love it lol :D

  • Epic!

  • This was really good!

  • At 7:23 it sounded like something out of an old Zelda game!

  • This was really good. I did find the constant creeking of the ship a bit annoying though. 2:59 was cool how you miniturized the ship and island. Overall, nice job!

  • great work the length was perfect for the film. I think you have a good chance of placing unlike my entry btw i subbed
