Not the "Stock Car Connection" in 1990. SCC only ran the AA400 for one year, in 1987. This year (1990) was a NASCAR All-Pro Series points race. Previous years had seen it as a non-points, ASA/All-Pro/ACT type Late Model event. I'll say that All-Pro *may* have sanctioned the race in '84, '85, and '86 (can't recall for sure) before the SCC was formed, then "un-formed" after one and a half seasons.
