If it wasn't Marquis that did it, woulda probably got the QQ to fold, putting him on KK or AA (since the opening raise UTG folded, probably with AK).

But earlier Marquis was playing a bit too LAG and so he had like no fold equity... he shoulda just called and shoved the flop, considering his image (if he really was willing to take such a risk when the table was full -- yeesh Marquis, makes sense if you were shortstack or it was 6handed, but cmon! duh.

Second, there's still Eastgate who's left to act. After you call, if Eastgate reraised all-in, you're fucked for sure. It's either push or fold in his situation and in this situation, best move was to fold. If you're facing a raise and a reraise in front of you on stage like this, you're likely facing high pocket pair or ace with high kicker.

This is the reason why Eastgate is main event champ while Marquis is first one out and eliminated from final 9. Look at Eastgate in this video. He knows that AK is just merely a highest card with high kicker that's underdog against a pair and if it's 3-handed, then his AK is likely underdog. Marquis has 21 blinds which is 2 times more than enough to outlast Kelly Kim but yet, he pushes and puts his tournament life at risk with AQ offsuit. Very sad if you think this is right play.

If you want to see how pros fold AQ, watch David Williams fold his AQ during Harrington's Squeeze Play at main event. There was 1 raise by Arieh, call from Raymer, and then reraise by Harrington. Williams knew that his AQ is probably no good, so he folded. And this was during final table. But in this video, it was BUBBLE play, meaning, everyone only plays premium hands so you have to be extra conservative and more wise about committing chips. Fucking idiot.
