I stretched the vocal in Cool Edit Pro, then went into the multitrack view to align the vocal against the music where I wanted it (I also took out a 30 second chunk of pjanoo out near the end).
After that I saved the aligned music and vocal files seperately and loaded them into Frooty Loops. I filtered out the bass of the vocal and added reverb and echoes to them, then ran the final mix through L3 to make it all blend together nicely.
You can't "make" acapellas, you have to find them. :(

What program did you use to make this mashup? And also, how did you get just the avril lavigne lyrics on their own?
