Use some filters and EQ. It sounds very flat.

hey man. i know how hard it can be to produce good electro. I would work on spicing up the melody and then concentrate on your EQing... bring out your bass and then structure your song in a more formal way and add a lead. keep producin!

since this was from a year ago, i will say not bad for starting out. look for some other plugins though, as well as drum samples/loops. and play with the plugins' LFOs, and try using peak controllers

good stuff mate, i think ive got the same problem as you, i just started fl studio, been trying to make hardstyle, house tech etc etc.

the loops which i synth or choose match rlly well and sound good individually, but i aint experienced in filters, effects and candy effects yet and that ruins it, remember your goal is to keep ur audience interested and the only way to do it for the raw tune you have rite here is to add loads of effects, filters and EQ.

Hey dude,

You need to practice a bit. FL isn't hard at all. Just sit down and try experementing with everything you see in FL. All of the compressors/fx plugins/EQs/effects and all... After a few months try making another track and post it here :)

ey ive been working with FL for a long time and this is a decent newb track.. m not putting you down man but this aint bad for your experience level...it just takes trime to learn a program well..just make sure you put effects/EQs/compressors/filter­s on everything and always use headphones so you can focus on your sound synthesis

Bad. Your bass is very mono, it sounds like 8bit house with soft and bad samples. You really need to filter your mono bass, and put some portamento / glides on it. Also a little short reeverb and delay on your hats, perc isn't a bad idea.

Why do u put 2 channels kickdrum channels to play at the same time after some seconds? Why don't u just amplify your kickdrum with an automaition clip or something like that? (It's not needed anyways, but..)

first time i doubt it. maybe the first time you've completed a full track though:P but in both cases its pretty good. try adding in some downlifers and uplifers and some diffrent effexts....go out and buy some of the vengeance packs, and experiment with automation. looking at how old this video is though im guesing youve improved alot from this no?

use the 3x osc. use the saw wave..and turn the 2nd and 3rd osc volume all the way down so u are only using the 1st osc. put it into an effects channel...add fruity filter, multiband compression and play around with those kto create some diffrent electro sounds.

also add a reverb 2, and the peak controller, on the reverb you should have 3 sliding things..link the right hand side one to the peak controller 'peak' and use an input of 1-input.
