I happen to own an 8GB Sansa Fuze and to be honest IT SUCKS! I wanted one because it could do video, audio, and radio. What I didn't know is that you have to use the lousy piece of shit software that goes with the player to just put videos on it. First of all, I am on a limited account and every time I have to OPEN the program, it pops up with the Administrator permission thing, and when I finally get access to it, the software crashes. When it finally does work, it takes FOREVER to just

convert one simple video on it. Even if you convert the same video to the same format using the same parameters as the sample video, it doesn't take it. So that rules out video. The next problem is the radio. The reception overall is decent, but when you try to record off of it, the recordings constantly skip. I complained to SanDisk about it and they didn't do shit about it. So that rules out recording off of the radio. So the only thing that it's good for is mp3s.

Even though, my old Sansa e250, had NONE of the problems that I have had with the Fuze. I recommend staying clear away from this player.

That's what I did. It worked perfectly fine for music, but when I tried to put video on it, it would just display an error screen on the player saying that the file is not supported, even if you convert a video (in a program other than the SMC)to the same format and resolution as the sample video that came with it. So pretty much if I wanted to put videos on it I would have to use the crap Sansa software.

Pound for pound, one of the best PMPs in the market today. Love the SD Card slot which basically means you can add music as long as you have the cards and those don't even go for much. Hell, the player goes for around $60-$80.

Just make sure to try to get one of the V1 models so you can run Rockbox on it which basically turns it into an even more amazing player than it is already.

Let me say this again, the Fuze really is an amazing player and is the best kept secret in the industry.

it can hold up to literally as much as you want as long as you have the money for it. It has a mini sd slot capable of allowing more memory. Its the best MP3 I HAVE EVER! EVER! OWNED! I recommend it!

the radio was a good thing to add, but the camera was not a good idea. And they placed it bad.

The thing about the Sansa Fuze is that it supports open format codecs, like FLAC and OGG, which is a lot better than mp3 and aac.

And you don't have to use itunes for putting your music on your player.

And it's cheaper to, have better sound and more power for bigger headphones.

this disk is just a computer typed up version of the manual. And to put music videos on it you download the sandisk sansa converter.

Go to any reputible audiophile web site. Search for best sounding mp3 players, the sandisk fuze and the clip are in the top 3.

Sony walkman nz series usually comes out very high too.

The ipods never make the top ten, its because apple knows that what sells their device is the clever styling and their cultish commercials. They do not focus on the audio quality, because they do not have to, to sell their mp3 players.

Sandisk is the underdog and puts all their energy in to sound quality.

you should get the iPod touch the touch screen is cool and its larger then the view 3.5 diagonal and you can go on the internet and buy songs on the go over wifi and have a separate app for youtube and play games using the accelerometer which is really fun. you can add apps too.
