The contact letter you use sounds great! Do you usually just send it via regular USPS mail or do you use an overnight service like FedEx so you can obtain a signature of the person receiving it so you have evidence of receipt?

Thanks John. It's amazing how well the "Letter of Intent" works. I also carry a list of similar cases. Festival directors and some cops assume you'll leave as soon as they tell you to. Once they see how prepared you are, and that the law is on your side, they tend to become quiet and walk away from you!
