But why cover the Cross??? !!! It is God who gave them the talent to play so beautifully, why to ignore Him and cover the greatest sign of His love??!!!!
@leontina06 Leontina, it's not good to obsess or force your beliefs on others who don't necessarily share them, plus I'm sure it was not the musicians who covered it hahaha. In my opinion though this is a secular concert though with secular music, so a cross would be out of place.
Spinosi is crazy,do you want to tell me that thats how it was perform and intendet at Vivaldis time? whats the harry? PS its tipical to all Spinosis interpertations...
@urik2u but not forgetting that we live in the 21st century where it is not always the desire to play in an historically accurate style (even though the ensemble are playing at a=415, on gut strings, etc), but to respect those rules and general guidelines and interpret as the performer wishes.
Perfektní. Nemá chybu............skoro : )

But, the concerto is originally for sopranino and strings? or some other instrument?
Blockflote26 2 years ago
This german edition (in D major) is for soprano recorder with sopranino fingering - suitable for people who have too big fingers for sopranino. Jean
