Your opinion is your right, though can you substantiate any of what you're saying with any evidence at all? Can we see footage of you playing 5/6ths of his material after having 'mastered' the G chord? I'm guessing not. Floors open for you to prove me wrong mate, though I'm betting I won't be.

Yes he does love playing in the Key of G. There are a lot of notes in this tune played with open strings. Im sure he plays alot in C as well, although a tune doesn't immediatly come to mind...

Damn. i absolutely love the work of Wooten... If one likes this, one should check out the album Thunder. It's a collaboration between Victor wooten, Stanley Clarke and Marcus Miller.

Now, while i absolutely worship wooten as a god, him having set me onto slap playing and such, i find the rather big amount of fret noise (at least i think that's what it is) at some points can get a bit distracting. Even so, i can easily say that he is one of my favourites, and one of the best bassist i know of.
