We were right for going into Afghanistan. I mean, we went into World War I because the Germans sunk the Lusitania which had American citizens on it. We went into World War II because the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor. So we went into Afghanistan because terrorist killed Americans with airplanes.
That being said, Bin Laden's death is good, but not a big deal. It won't fix the economy or other critical issues that America is facing.

The CIA never directly supported Al Qaeda, they supported the Afghan Mujahedeen; Al Qaeda wasn’t created until late 1988 to late 1989. The Soviets left Afghanistan in early 1989.
The CIA didn’t profit from 911, the nation as a whole lost hundreds of $Billions when the stock market plunged, the CIA LOST credibility (as with most of the intel community) after 911.

I don't buy the offical story. Osama has been dead a long time... Benazir Bhutto confirmed this YEARS ago... and THEN she "suddenly" died. The powers that be simply pretended that Osama was alive because it served their interests in helping to maintain support for the Iraq and Afghan wars. NOW it serves Obama's interests that Osama is "captured" and "killed" AFTER the whole birther issue, lost jobs,rising gas prices and AFTER his low poll numbers. Can somebody say, "Wag the Dog"?

The entire war on terror is a joke. The CIA admitted there were a little over 100 Al Qaeda members in Afghanistan, yet we have tens of thousands of soldiers on the ground. If they can't take 30-50k troops and get rid of a couple hundred terrorists it tells you the game is rigged. The wars weren't meant to end. I call BS on all of this Bin Ladin nonsense. He's been dead for years. The CIA said so, so did the presidents of Afghanistan.
