Cheap SD USB MP3 FM Transmitter

I have the exact same device. It is very common. First one fell to pieces and this one has quirky buttons. Also, MP3 tracks skip and only play halfway through before skipping to the next song. Any help? The files work fine on a PC.

What about using a mp3 player to Tape player adapter? Those work quite well

Oh, just noticed, the infrared receiver is missing on mine too so the remote won't work either.

This was from a brand new still factory heat sealed package, How can QC be so bad as to leave out a wire for the LED and a ribbon for the LCD thus rendering the product useless? It boggles the mind. Tomorrow I am contacting the distributor (ESI Cellular) to see if they will honor the "Lifetime Warranty" as I never even got a single use out of it. Mine was $10 from Dollar General.

A friend just bought me one of these and when I opened the package 2 of the buttons on the face were sunken in, so I opened it to find out why and discovered that the buttons sit about 1/4th inch above the board and have standoff pegs and they were broken off of those 2 buttons, while I had it open (it just snaps apart) I noticed that there was only 1 wire going to the backlight LED, the wire wasn't soldered to the board, and the ribbon that connects the display to the board was completely gone,

thats a cool thing most of my friends told me that the sound quality will be horrible but i was surpised and its not that bad (the original cd player died in natural ways) and its kinda cool when you are driving more than one car with your friends and you can listen to the same music because i personaly i have a range about ~100 meters (sory for bad english im not native to it)

I had the exact same one from the video, 3 of them failed and I never abused them or dropped them and there was always interference. I got fed up and bought a deck with USB and AUX jack. Much happier with a proper deck than with this transmitter. Spend the $300 for an actual deck. This isn't worth the headache.

@kogarona In my own experience, the sound was bad. Too much interference from static and other stations. Not worth the money. I got a proper Clarion deck instead. Save your money.

Can i use this thing as a fm radio? You see my dad has a really old truck and the radio died, he doesnt want to buy a new radio so he wants something that can play radio stations. Would this device help?

So long as it has an "input in" you can use ur MP3 and iPod on this, but u have to have a 3.5 to 3.5 cable!

I went through 3 of these things, kept breaking for no reason. Too much radio static. I bought a Clarion deck with USB, CD/CD MP3 and AUX input jack. Works much better for me.

Great product... I just use my phone memory card (SD) and it works like a charm. One helpful hint is to change the transmitter station to something low like 87.7

Or... just change it to something as far off of a normal radio station. Example....99.5 is a radio station and the next one is 100.9. A good station to put the device at would b 100.2 because it is in the middle of the two stations which prevents it from interferring with their radio waves. It's simply amazing for its price

@jniepokoj123 ya, but some of us dont have cd players in our cars. i drive a 98 isuzu trooper that only has a tape deck, so this is the option for me =] but i agree with you, cd's are way better

It only plays off USB sticks or drives that is fat formatted, It wont play off an iPod but it will play off a USB memory stick, Drives are tricky because some of them require power. I will also play off SDHC cards.

FAT format means Windows formatted USB or SD. Not Linux extfs, Mac HFS. Every OS does FAT/FAT32
