I think you don't know what the bassist is doing here. He plays the main riff, repeating it during the entire song. And he uses some effects, like some kind of whammy, which is a pitch shifter that can change the notes one octave up or down... He combines this pedal with a delay. Maybe that's why you think he es out of sync and doesn't change his fret position.

Strumming the Bass String like he is Leading, and he doesn't Change his Fret Position when the Note Changes in Couple shots??? What is up with that. I have watched it 6 or 7 times and though the Rest of the Band is seemingly in time and Live the Bass Player seems to be merely a puppet looking at the Lead Singer What is your take on it??

@skanerost thats matt followill the cousin, he yells into his pick-up, it basically only works with humbucker pick-ups, and you need alot of overdrive, with some delay/echo and maybe abit of distortion

@skanerost You need to have pretty hot pickups as well. Matt Followill isn't the first guitarist to do that, Paul Gilbert did it at the end of an instrumental he wrote called Get Out of My Yard, where he yells that into his pickups.
