This series followed the traditional vampire laws (e.g. vampires get burnt in the sunlight) instead of the BS vampire laws like sparkling in the sunlight. Plus Ma Xiao-Ling has got a far stronger purpose in her life than Bella had in Twilight. Any of the MDWAV series can kick Twilight's pathetic ass any day. :)

@ivansofun I don't completely know about the rest of Twilight, but I watched the first one, where an ordinary girl likes a vampire or something. However, in this series, a vampire slayer fell in love with a vampire. As you can see, this is going to be much more emotional than Twilight.

Hi. im just wondering if anyone can answer my question. Its been a while since i watched this but i forgot how the ending of season one and the beginning of season 2 connect to each other.

In the ending of season 1, we see fong tin yau coming back and renting apartment at "kaka" apartment.. but didn't the buddha changed history by preventing the vampire king from biting fong tin yau? how is he still alive after 60 years?

The first 20 episodes was epic. But I didn't enjoy it much because Fong Gok Wah and San ben Ri Fu and Tong Bun Jing all turned emo-like compared to the first series.
