I'll never understand why military people get so many things just handed to them for free that others have to work hard for. What about people that have been out of school for other reasons, such as having to work? Those people are never going to get as much assistance as these morons. It's also ridiculous that that one woman acts as if it's a huge issue to not be used to the latest fashion trends.

Agreed. I am from Germany myself and I know very well why (at least where I come from) soldiers get ridiculed and everyone tries NOT to be drafted. Of course, things are always different in the South. I guess people there have gotten too used to American occupation.

It's great that the University of Minnesota has these great programs available for veterans, being a 2 time war vet myself and moving to Maryland to be closer to family I have found the support system for veterans in the state of Maryland is close to ZERO, specially at the Junior College level where resources are not allotted to support returning vets for this transition from war zone to classroom.

Maryland has got to be the shittiest place to go to school as a veteran.
