I saw this judgement house last year. I'm 23, a believer, and this scene jsut brought me to tears. i was scared, because if I fall away from HIM it will be much worse
"Falling away" doesn't send you to hell; that's a myth. Sure, we suffer if we fall away; but we're not sent to hell. The promise of Salvation comes when Jesus saves. After that, nothing (scripture says) can take us out of His Hands. His love is unconditional; if it were not, I would be scared for all of us.

I went to this and there trying to teach people what will happen if you dont follow jesus, there not trying to scare them there trying to help them learn. There is a Judgment Room scene where it is explained that there are two choices, two destination. Then you go through both the Hell & the Heaven scenes. And the guides do let everyone know when they are about to enter the Hell scene & people can leave partway through if needed, as well.
No - this didn't scare me. It was quite funny actually. What I do NOT like is that they allow kids into this stuff. Small children are very vulnerable as they are still developing mentally. This stuff plays on mental vulnerability.
It is CLEARLY stated at our church that it is not recommended for kids under 10. We have someone sitting just outside of Judgement to take anyone not wishing to go thru the hell scene on up to the gates of Heaven.
At the judgement house that I have seen - the VERY small children wait just outside the VERY thin walls of the hell scene, and hear EVERYTHING. Since this thing is CLEARLY and obviously directed at young children - why try to scare them into following your faith by threatening them with fire and torture in the "afterlife"? Wouldn't it be better to try to help people while they are here on earth? Churches spend thousands of dollars on these hell productions while thousands of people are homeless.

You don't know what "hell" is like either (if it even exists). Do you realize how different the world (and moreover - human knowledge of the world and reality) were back when the bible was said to have been written? It was hundreds of years AFTER THE COM;LETION of the bible (which, for the record; the final portion of the bible is commonly thought to have been written around the end of the first century AD) before mankind knew that the world is round. Thus making the bible currently unreliable.
That's the great thing about scripture. It's God's knowledge through humans. It's not simply human knowledge and good ideas.
Around the 1st Century would have been perfect timing. They may not have known the world was round, but they knew Jesus died and rose again. They knew His grave was empty (although heavily guarded by skilled Roman soldiers), and no one could find his body, until he made an appearance.

You do not want to go to Hell, a place of eternal suffering and torment. God never says love me or I will torture you. He does not torture his own creation. Well, VideoguyNC an old preacher once preached a sermon called "Sin is fun" and it is, its the consequences of those actions that scripture is trying to lead us away from. Much like meth evidently gives you an incredible craving, however, ultimately taking the crap underneath your sink and cooking it up and putting it in your body will destroy you. "Falling away" doesn't send you to hell; that's a myth. Sure, we suffer if we fall away; but we're not sent to hell. The promise of Salvation comes when Jesus saves. After that, nothing (scripture says) can take us out of His Hands. His love is unconditional; if it were not, I would be scared for all of us.

I went to this and there trying to teach people what will happen if you dont follow jesus, there not trying to scare them there trying to help them learn. And you can seat out if you want to they say "this is the scary scene if you want to seat out you can there will be people out here with you. And homeless people mad there decissons and they should go to it.

There is a Judgment Room scene where it is explained that there are two choices, two destination. Then you go through both the Hell & the Heaven scenes. And the guides do let everyone know when they are about to enter the Hell scene & people can leave partway through if needed, as well.

No - this didn't scare me. It was quite funny actually. What I do NOT like is that they allow kids into this stuff. Small children are very vulnerable as they are still developing mentally. This stuff plays on mental vulnerability.

It is CLEARLY stated at our church that it is not recommended for kids under 10. We have someone sitting just outside of Judgement to take anyone not wishing to go thru the hell scene on up to the gates of Heaven.

At the judgement house that I have seen - the VERY small children wait just outside the VERY thin walls of the hell scene, and hear EVERYTHING. Since this thing is CLEARLY and obviously directed at young children - why try to scare them into following your faith by threatening them with fire and torture in the "afterlife"? Wouldn't it be better to try to help people while they are here on earth? Churches spend thousands of dollars on these hell productions while thousands of people are homeless.

You don't know what "hell" is like either (if it even exists). Do you realize how different the world (and moreover - human knowledge of the world and reality) were back when the bible was said to have been written? It was hundreds of years AFTER THE COM;LETION of the bible (which, for the record; the final portion of the bible is commonly thought to have been written around the end of the first century AD) before mankind knew that the world is round. Thus making the bible currently unreliable.

That's the great thing about scripture. It's God's knowledge through humans. It's not simply human knowledge and good ideas.
Around the 1st Century would have been perfect timing. They may not have known the world was round, but they knew Jesus died and rose again. They knew His grave was empty (although heavily guarded by skilled Roman soldiers), and no one could find his body, until he made an appearance.

It would seem that way wouldn't it, but I think it's more like this: Of course originally (according to Genesis) He set up paradise. Our forefather and -mother messed that up for us. Now, I think it's more that the world around us offers instant gratification in every way with every kind of pleasure imaginable, but they don't mention the consequences often. I think, what God offers, is a revolutionary way of life apart from that, with more pleasure and lasting joy than anything else could offer.

Isn't that a bit like setting every speed limit at 35, and then building cars that only run well at 55 or better? Religion doesn't add up! You know it, I know it, and every "preacher" knows it. Well - if we are born to sin (as you said), aren't we disobaying the plan if we change? By the way - I grew up in a crazy southern, (bible-thumping) church. I've heard and read the bible from cover to cover, and it makes NO sense. And I also think you meant I was blaspheming god. If you're going to preach to someone - at least spell it correctly. Don't hurt others, help others and be a kind person. Those aren't religious requirements - those are ideals that make our modern society function (at least in theory). If people took the biblical examples of how to live, society would be a harsh place. Sacrificing animals, belittling woman, and mandating a specific faith.

Sacraficing animals was believed to wash away everyone's sins. Then,Jesus died on the cross. And they didnt do it anymore,because he shed his blood for us. When he was dying for us,he knew everything we'd do wrong. He knew you would post that on this video. And in my opinion,that is disresepctful.
