When I first heard this LP. Was listening to it asap as it came out. Careless Whisper was a favorite but this song >> I immediately LOVED. And started playing it over/over. I then knew George would become VERY popular and he did. The voice is unique.. The tune is COOL!!!

from what i remember ALL the girls went nuts over these guys- but they made real good music so didn't mind- boy band beens a bad word w/ new kids who weren't embarrassing but they did breed "back street boys" real tuff guys, i got to say, straight gees. After that whole boy band thing was pretty much an on going joke. But respect to Wham for doing it right and having strong talent !! (for the nerds i also know new kids were a spin off of new edition ) but their target crowds were different

This song always reminds me of a traveling sales job I had in 1985...I think of US 71 just south of Ashdown, Arkansas (about as far as you could get from Andrew, George and the UK at the time) in the summertime, where the land gets flat as a pancake a few miles above Texas and Louisiana and you can speed up when the road turns four-lane after being curvy and narrow. "Everything she wants" would be playing when I could finally get in range of the Shreveport/Texarkana stations.
