It took 400 years but the Council of Nicaea (431 AD) finally put an end to all the fighting and decided (by voice vote - LOL) that Jesus was divine. Not only that, he also pre-existed, was born (?) but was actually "god". (Does anyone actually believe such nonsense?) After the vote they began enforcing the agreed-upon theology. In Matthew 9 He told a paralytic "Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee." The scribes considered this blasphemy, b/c they knew that only GOD can forgive. This is one of the reasons why they crucified Jesus. He claimed to be God through His teachings and His works.

Both words mean pure flesh and blood - fully human, verses the human-God the church creeds attempt to define. There is nothing in the Greek or the Hebrew that implies anything more than 100 percent human flesh and blood! In fact, the Greek word can even be translated (and is elsewhere) as carnal or carnally minded!

@1954phyllis Please Phyllis, if you are going to use Greek names such as Christ and Jesus, you are lost. we should be using his real name Yahushua, please google it and also research the Christina/pagan customs suych as xmas and easter. The truth is, the Roman Empire were pagans who celebrated Saturnalia (xmas) this is satanic (FACT). Please read Jeremiah 10:2-4. @Soul4JC No I am not born again, I do not hold on to any organised religion I worship god but not part of any organised religion. God does not dwell in temples.
