Please somone answer me,Does Rift have a cosmetic tab for armour?so not everyone looks the same end game,kind of like the cosmetic tab in LOTRO or transmog in wow.Can I wear any kind of armor over my real armor?

@bloodgunslinger Yes, as long as it is either the costume armor, or of your same type (a mage can't put plate in the wardrobe slot, but can put and cloth piece in - exception being the 'plate armor looking' pieces from clother npcs etc).

I like how these guys made 6 nice patches that seem to be also large (I assume - not rift player) and wow has done 1 raid/daily patch in like 7 months with 2 rehashed dungeons on one "patch" before that.

I think it's only not as good, because there aren't as many players. if Rift had as many players as wow, it would probably be better.

Some game-play needs to be redone, and dungeons should be re-tuned to be more difficult.

Rift will become free to play in about 1 year, Why? Diablo 3 will come out of beta soon, new world of warcraft expansion, Guild Wars 2, The old Republic, Skyrim, and Blizzard wil come with a new mmorpg. Games like rift cant compete with other monthly fee mmorpg's tho rift is an awesome game.

And the "raiding" has no challenge to it, everything is a tank n spank. The only reason anyone plays it is because it has more polygons on everything than wow. But they did a lot of things right. Negatively, I can definitely say they played it extremely safe. I was in the beta around early December.

Wow killers are myths. The people over at bioware said it best, no mmo has surprised 10 million. And its irrational to think that your game is actually going to kill that just after release. People leave wow and discovery other mmos but they have obtained so much in that game that they just don't want to leave it and return.

The only people who are going to kill wow is itself. One game cannot shut it down, its just not going to happen.

I dont get this "we bring out more content faster" as being a good thing. Less then TEN guilds in the WORLD have done all the raid content, so a new raid is a dumb idea. Yes its nice to have new things, but now when more then 50% of your gamers are still doing the FIRST raids and not event he second, and now you got a third....

@Fraeblood No. They currently have 3 20-man raids, and 2 10-man raids (though a third is coming in the next patch). The only one of big difficulty is the 20-man Hammerknell, and we likely won't see a new 20-man for some bit.

1.6 comes with a new 5-man dungeon, 'outdoor' (you can use mounts) with 11 bosses in its full form.

Most of the content with 1.6 is non-raid content. It's open world, objectives, world bosses, land defence, zone questing, PvP-modes, etc...
