@abazhan33 The Time Lords did return in the final David Tennant story. My guess is that a few will show up again some time. Doctor #1 did have a granddaughter who lives in Earth's future. She would be a Time Lord, and any children half-Time Lords. It would be interesting if a regeneration of her would show up, or the Doctor's great-grandchild.

Absolutely brilliant! And to think this video was made over 2 years ago. The BBC showed the TARDIS interior being destroyed in the actual series (The End of Time Part 2) to introduce a new design for Matt Smith's Doctor. They stole your idea! It's a shame you can't sue them. ;-)

You did a really good job regenerating the Doctor and the Tardis. The clips and effects you put together made it look like you had the actors come over and record with you. ^_^
DWM was going to do a comic that showed the 8th regeneration but and at first got the OK to do so by RTD, however in the end they just jumped straight to ninth doctor comics, however most fans believe that the 8th Doctor did regenerated because o the time war but I believe we will never see it now that we are 3/4 years into the new series.
Not bad at all. My theory is that the Doctor used the Hand of Omega to destroy Gallifrey, the Daleks and the Eye of Harmony. When the Doctor regenerated, so did the TARDIS.

As someone who has done his own Time War video, I had some problems with your version. Primarily, I think that extermination nullifies even the ability to regenerate- so while I used a few extremely similar scene combinations, I did not have the Doctor exterminated.
That being said, I think your regeneration clips were near perfect. I had a difficult time matching up the 8th Doctor with the 9th for the regeneration- but I never considered using the clip from the 7-8 regeneration. Well done!

In terms of the regeneration, the idea is that the Doctor was killed by the Daleks but the TARDIS sacrificed its own life/power to bring him back and force a regeneration. That's why the TARDIS is falling to pieces as the Doctor regenerates. Watch it again with that in mind and let me know what you think. Thanks for your comment.

yes as commented he has had small events happen before he enters roses life, but theres all these books of the eighth dr now theres all dodgy stories of the doctor losing his mind, he finds romana again, he fights the 9th dr in the time war, but to be honest all the moral stories are that he probably wanted to get away from it all as he visits the beach(the sketch in rose) he boards titanic (the closest one after the time war, he wears is past cloths)
Nicely done. And moving. I would like to think that the regeneration took place via the timewar....but I suspect it took place just prior to "Rose" (look at the ears mirror moment in that episode) and after he visited the Titanic at Southampton (he wears Eight's clothes). I hope you are right though. That would make a great episode or movie if done right.

I really think you and Russell T Davies should meet up and try and get Eccleston and McGann to team up and make a movie of this. You could all make a fortune and it would get Doctor Who even more popular. An eighth regeneration is needed to fill in the gaps - so too is the time war where gallifrey is destroyed. Have you had any feedback from the Doctor Who producers?

Cool! I hope that the new series of Doctor Who lasts well beyond 2010. "Planet of the Ood" is a very good title. I know that Martha is going to come back at around the seventh episode or something.

A great video! I made my own version of the regeneration about a year ago. Ive just been working on a 'NEXT TIME' trailer for the Time war so take a look Mr. Mulett and let us know what you think! This though sir i think is genius though i always thought it was the delta wave he created that regenerated him? Though to be honest no one really knows! :D EXTERMINATE!

As someone who has done his own Time War video, I had some problems with your version. Primarily, I think that extermination nullifies even the ability to regenerate- so while I used a few extremely similar scene combinations, I did not have the Doctor exterminated.
That being said, I think your regeneration clips were near perfect. I had a difficult time matching up the 8th Doctor with the 9th for the regeneration- but I never considered using the clip from the 7-8 regeneration. Well done!

thanks melchizedek. Its great to hear from someone who's also tried to do this regeneration. In terms of the regeneration, the idea is that the Doctor was killed by the Daleks but the TARDIS sacrificed its own life/power to bring him back and force a regeneration. That's why the TARDIS is falling to pieces as the Doctor regenerates. Watch it again with that in mind and let me know what you think. Thanks for your comment.

(i had to comment on here cus of character shortage)the dr caused the time war let it be announced in the satan pit! also the bbc have to put the 9th doctor in on christmas because theyll strike a big big big continuity error because in the end of the world he says he has boarded titanic and also timelords die forever if they are shot by dalek ray but its an exellent vid! :)

yes as commented he has had small events happen before he enters roses life, but theres all these books of the eighth dr now theres all dodgy stories of the doctor losing his mind, he finds romana again, he fights the 9th dr in the time war, but to be honest all the moral stories are that he probably wanted to get away from it all as he visits the beach(the sketch in rose) he boards titanic (the closest one after the time war, he wears is past cloths)

Nicely done. And moving. I would like to think that the regeneration took place via the timewar....but I suspect it took place just prior to "Rose" (look at the ears mirror moment in that episode) and after he visited the Titanic at Southampton (he wears Eight's clothes). I hope you are right though. That would make a great episode or movie if done right.

OK, that was brilliant as I said before, but if you wanted to make it perfect, you should make the Dalek viewpoint entirely blue (with the circles and things remaing, of course) but it's still a magnificent construction!
